My wife and I were attending a wedding nearby. From the moment we arrived (about noon) to the moment we left, (11am the next day), we felt so looked after. The family who run the pub are so friendly, taking so much care to ensure we had what we needed. It was great to chat to them and have a drink in the pub when we returned from the wedding venue. It was so nice to see a pub run by a family rather than a corporate chain. Breakfast was great. Room cleanliness, faultless. Location, superb. Beer garden (complete with games and activities), wonderful. Staff friendliness, first class. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you to all the staff - wish we could have stayed longer!! :)

Stayed at The Five Bells for a nearby wedding and couldn’t have been happier! This lovely family-run pub and B&B has spacious, spotless rooms with thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries (a lifesaver as we forgot ours!). On-site parking for guests made everything so easy. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming—such a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Great stay at the Five Bells. We felt very looked after during our stay - our room and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, all the staff were really thoughtful and helpful and the breakfast was impressive. It had a lovely welcoming feel to it which can be missing in many other places. Would recommend.

This place was a half way stop over on our walk of the Miner's Way East Kent, can't fault it for value for money and friendliness, dinner menu is traditional pub food, Steak and ale pie, Scampi etc, good hearty full English breakfast prepared and served by someone who appeared to be happy to be there! Rooms were clean and comfortable but not luxurious, all in all very homely and welcoming
