It wasn't first class ,But it was an affordable low cost hotel and i really appreciated the free breakfast evey morning. Just bring warm clothing and extra blankets if you are sensitive to the cold. I would stay there again

Staff was good very friendly and helpful. I loved the location, The bus stop was right across the road from the bus station. That was good for me because i took the bus from Mexico. Lot of sores and restaurants. And big flee market tjere with lots of food stalls and restaurants where you can buy anytime. Only complaint is that they have no heating ,and the evenings get cold i wished they had lots of warm blankets, i asked one night i was told they didn't have any .that wasn't a deal breakfast. Good breakfast included every morning.

I, unfortunately, did not have a good experience with Hotel Star Express Puebla and had to check out fifteen minutes after arriving. The issue was that the room did not have a window, which could have been fine if there was a way to control the temperature, but there was no AC or a fan, which just made the room's air still and insufferable. Second, the most pressing issue was a lingering awful smell of sewage from the bathroom. It was so strong and intense it was making me nauseous. My colleague staying in the same hotel had the same issue with the smell, so it wasn't just my room. With these issues, we opted to leave. Although we were told we would not get a refund, we did not care because it was terrible.

The fee is expensive according to the hotel appearance. Nobody is present to help you with the luggage and there are only stairs. Bathroom outlet was not working. It was reported to the front desk but they didn't do anything. Small rooms and nothing is the same as the pictures on the web Very disappointed that this place is offered through expedia.

Other than the bedroom being near the kitchen (loud) was great. Very convenient to the bus station, nice and friendly staff. 4-5 minute walk to the bus station, markets, restaurants. Good breakfast and coffee. Would stay again!

My husband and I decided to stay here for a family wedding because it was in a central location. We could have stayed with family in the area, but getting ready for a wedding is always hectic and we wanted our own restroom/space. We enjoyed how new everything was inside. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The room was new, bathroom was new, toilet was new, windows were new...TV could have been bigger, could use a window a/c unit/heater. Closet space was adequate, and in-room safe was great. Could use a microwave, fridge, iron board and iron though. Toiletries were nice! Was a bit noisy, but nothing that a tired day before and after a wedding couldn't handle (when you're that tired, do you even care?). Parking lot was strange, but just park in the parking garage for Coppel next door while you check in and the valet will bring it and park it where it needs to go. My husband and I felt safe, however our family that lives in the area warned us not to stay there again because of the "danger". I don't know, we didn't see anything shady while we were there, so who knows. Overall, we enjoyed it. Great Price, location, cleanliness, modern updates, free buffet breakfast with amazing, delicious choices. Would recommend.

Excellent service, nice people from the front entrance, to the cleaning people... I'll recommend this hotel to all my fam. And friends. My Next trip for sure will be to Puebla, Pue Hotel Star Express.

The hotel is brand new and everything is shiny. Beds are comfortable. No tears, no stains. It's a very good hotel even in EU/US terms! The only problem is little sound-proofing. You can hear everything happening in the corridor. In the morning people will wake you up as they head for the breakfast. So no matter how tired you were last night or how late you went to sleep, you are still going to wake up between 7-8AM. The breakfast included in the price was very good.

Hotel was conveniently located for our meetings. It is across the street from the bus station so you can easily arrive from anywhere in Mexico. Despite the bus traffic there was no noise in the hotel from the buses. There is a little noise from the hallways and other rooms, but was not during reasonable sleeping hours, so no issue for us.

New hotel, very clean, great friendly service, great breakfast and very convenient for proximity to CAPU and local transportation.
