Old classic place in one of the nicest locations in Victoria

If you’re looking for a nice, quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay in Victoria this is the place. Staff was amazing since the moment I walked in and of course the breakfast WOW!. My wife loved the place too. We’re going back for sure! Strongly recommended.

I loved our stay. Service, cleanliness, food, location all top notch, 5 star. Loved the 24 hour pastries and non alcoholic drinks. The ocean view at breakfast soothes the soul.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Dashwood Manor B&B. Our room had a beautiful view of both Beacon Hill Park and the ocean. The room was beautifully decorated in early 20th century furnishings complete with a massive four poster bed. It was quiet and so comfortable. And the breakfasts were delicious and very generous portions - no need for lunch! The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. We couldn't have asked for more for our holiday and anniversary celebration. We will be back!

We were in the Kensington Room and had an amazing view of the ocean. Two wing back chairs to sit in and enjoy the view and people and dog watch. Staff was great and the breakfast was very filling- much more than we eat at home. We felt recharged and rested during our stay. We plan to return.

Dashwood is a wonderful B & B in a historical building. The building itself has a lot of heritage charm, and so does the room I stayed in. There was a partial ocean view in the spacious, comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a nice tv, period furniture, a small fridge, a desk, and a bathroom with lots of hot water and a comfy tub! It was tastefully appointed and quiet in the evenings. The breakfast was a bonus, and the staff friendly and accommodationg! I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great stay at a beautiful place

Beautiful setting. Attentive, professional staff! The people really make the difference!

Clean, friendly staff . Easy check in with key code. No contact required. The window for breakfast is short, one hour only. Not enough table to accommodate all guests so a short wait may be necessary. It was a full house the night we stayed.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. From the moment I got there I felt like I was visiting a friend's house. The dining room has coffee pods and tea, a microwave, Ice machine, and a kettle. Now let's talk about breakfast(8:30 to 9:30). Just wow, so delish. Morning 1 we had the tastiest parfaits, pancakes, bacon guava juice and orange juice and of course coffee! Day 2 we had EGGS BENEDICT and the best potatoes. Everyone from chef to floor staff were 10/10. Thank you for hosting us at the lovely house by the ocean. We hope to come back again soon.

This is a beautiful building, inside and out! The staff was excellent, communicative and helpful. Breakfast was handmade and served by the staff and tasted great!

The staff were amazing! The food everyday was exceptional.

What appealed first and formost was the stately manor and where it was located on Dallas and Cook overlooking a wide span w of the ocean, on walking trails and close to cook village. There was convenient free parking on the property. The people working in manor were very welcoming, and accommodating. The manor was beautifully decorated in period furnishings and very clean, did NOT have the old funky smells usually found with old unkept buildings. The breakfast room was cheery and the breakfasts varied day to day prepared by a chef. There were refreshments, water bottles and cookies and the most delicious French apple cake for snacks.

Everything was wonderful! For sure, we will be back in the summer to enjoy more the outdoor activities.

The room was in great condition and the staff were very nice. We stayed in the Somerset room and would recommend. great location with the beach footsteps away.

This Old historic building is tastefully furnished with beautiful antiques and located right on the waterfront promenade, next to Beaconhill Park. The location is unbeatable for people who like to walk or cycle. The rooms are large, full of old world ambiance, with comfortable beds and quality linens. They offer a fine breakfast in the ocean view dining room in the morning (included in room rate). Excellent service during our 2 day stay. They also have lock ups for bikes with chargers for e-bikes. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Victoria.

Had an excellent stay here! The staff were all so kind, and the food was always fresh. Perfect place for a quiet getaway. I will absolutely be back!

Great breakfast and a beautiful environment.As a solo traveler,I felt very comfortable staying here. The staff were very friendly,even though I woke up late on my first day, they still prepared breakfast for me.The location is also very convenient, with easy access to the station.Highly recommended.
