It was a nice hotel with easy access to the city center. The hotel restaurant was pretty good, and there are also a couple of other nice restaurants nearby. However, the breakfast was not worth the money, and some of the staff members did not come across as very welcoming. Happy with the room, but there was quite a lot of noise from the road when we had the windows open, which was a bit unfortunate.

I am currently staying here and I am glad I found this hotel. It is clean, modern, but the best part is the professional, hard-working, friendly staff. They will go way out of their way to accommodate guests’ requests. I want to specially thank Antoine who greets guests when they arrive and when they come back from a long day in Chamonix. He is reflective of the whole staff. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. It is very hot in Chamonix right now and the vast majority of the hotels do not have air conditioning. I feel sorry for the guests at other hotels. This hotel has one of the best hotel air conditioners in the rooms. The hotel also has a restaurant that serves excellent food. You can’t go wrong staying at this hotel especially in the summer. I would have no hesitation coming back to this hotel mainly because of the staff. The owners are very fortunate to have such nice people working at this property. Chalet Hotel Le Castel deserves 5 stars!

My wife and I spent 4 nights here in September 2024 and were thoroughly happy with our stay. We had a top floor room with an amazing view of Mont Blanc from our balcony. There was even a great view through the skylight in the shower. Great bathroom, by the way. We dined at the hotel each night after returning from our daily wanderings and tried pretty much the entire menu and found everything to be wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful for a couple of first time visitors to France. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay! One of our favorite stays on our trip so far! The room was amazing and comfortable. Great decor. The bath tub was relaxing and great. The balcony had a once in a lifetime view of the mountain. Absolutely get the upgraded room it’s worth the balcony. Only downside is breakfast is expensive for what it is. Not many options and was $18 a person.

One of my favorite stays during our Europe trip. Absolutely breathtaking views of the the mountains. Spent a little extra for the views of mount leblanc and it did not disappoint. The interior of the entire hotel is very fitting for the royalty feel. The room was amazing. I’d love to stay here again. Breakfast was a little pricey (18 euro each person) but good. Overall, I look forward to staying here again
