There was no reception, and the room smelled bad. I left some items behind; I contacted them to confirm they found them and offered to help return them, but they haven't responded to my messages for almost two weeks now.

Too terrible. Apart from the central location of the old town, everything is really bad. I spent more than 400k/night but the purpose of renting is only 5 hours from 2pm to 7pm to go to the airport. I mainly wanted a place to shower, but the room was too dirty, smelled musty, the toilet was not cleaned well. There were still leftover toilet paper and toothpaste caps from previous guests. My room was on the 4th floor (climbing stairs), a female traveler like me with a suitcase would have to leave it on the ground floor and not bring it up to the room.
