The hotel is conveniently located just off the motorway and we use it every time we travel down to the Costa del Sol .

The hotel was excellent for the price I paid. Definitely good value for money. My disappointment was with the cafeteria. A couple of items I had chosen to eat, they didn't have, they weren't helpful and I felt harrassed so I went to the restaurant which was much better with excellent staff. In the cafeteria later, they started closing outside spaces and an angry little woman started removing bar stools from an outside seating area from 9 pm. Again, I felt harrassed. It was not a good place to relax with a drink. A poster of a newspaper headline in the cafeteria made the claim, "Best motorway services in Spain". I don't think so.

We have stayed at Tudanca II many times over the years, and prefer it over another large hotel just off the motorway at the northern end of Aranda. We last stayed 18 months ago and since then the rooms (at least on the first floor) have been refurbished and are now very smart. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and large. Good towels and crisp bedding. Plenty of plug sockets too. Dinner in the onsite restaurant was excellent and for a change I ordered a Tudanca Rueda Verdejo wine to accompany our steaks, it was so good, that I bought two bottles in Reception when checking out - never done that at any hotel before. Parking is good, we got an undercover space which helped in the heat. Breakfast was exceptional, a huge choice from fresh fruit, smoked salmon, cheeses, hams, tostadas croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice. The reception staff at check-in and checkout were very friendly and spoke excellent English. I can safely say that this was the best stay that we have ever had at Tudanca II.

Always a great stopover. Good food, spacious room and fantastic shower! Very clean, ample safe parking basically everything you need at a great price.

Nothing around. Went out to eat where there were more opinions, only one restaurant within 5km. The room was ok for the price breakfast was good. One of the reception staff members were not to willing to answer questions. Her counterpart was more helpful.

Food options decent enough, comfy bed. Great Wi fi pick up. Plenty of parking etc. Rooms now badly need an upgrade along with bathroom but overall not bad VFM and so handy for the motorway to and from Santander ferry.

We thought we’d booked into the 4* hotel but only into the 2* but this is absolutely fine! A bit smaller room and no bath only a shower which is ideal for us. Dinner bed & breakfast deal good value and nice.

Great stayover for Santander ferry. Staff friendly, restaurant, snack bar, EV and Tesla charging on site . Would recommend
