I absolutely loved this hotel. Its location in Malasaña is ideal, with Chueca, Gran Vía, and many of Madrid’s major attractions all within easy walking distance. The staff are genuinely warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The hotel is beautifully and thoughtfully designed throughout, and the rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well appointed. The café and bar, with its pleasant indoor/outdoor seating area, is a wonderful place to enjoy a coffee or an evening drink, and the rooftop provides another charming space to relax. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit.

Hotel du Temps was our first stop in Spain and we had the most phenomenal stay! The decor and style of the hotel was so cute and aesthetically pleasing, I loved it the moment we walked inside. You could tell the amount of detail put into every element of design. We were very grateful to be able to check in a couple of hours early and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious - the perfect size for a couple. Comfortable bed, great water pressure and plenty of space to unpack & store clothes. The rooftop had a beautiful view and was a great place to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. We also had a complimentary glass of vermouth, which we enjoyed the first evening in the restaurant on the first floor. We were the only ones in there and they even let my musician boyfriend play the piano, which was so kind. The location was everything! The hotel is situated on the cutest street just a few minute walk to so many incredible sights, restaurants, cafes and activities. The perfect stay from start to finish. 10/10

Unfortunately, my experience was terrible. The room’s AC did not work at all during the heatwave that happened recently. We arrived exhausted from our trip and thought we would get some rest in the hotel room aftwr a long day of traveling, but couldn’t sleep because it was 32° Celsius inside of our room. When I asked the staff for a refund or room change, they did not offer me any sort of compensation and said the rooms were all occupied. Very frustrating experience, and I do not recommend the hotel mainly because of the way they dealt with the situation. Obviously machines fail and have issues, but they need a backup plan for when this happens, or at least refund the cost of the stay. A free breakfast croissant and bottle of water do not solve the situation.

Really great boutique hotel. Nice room and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The location is quiet corner in the middle of a busy area and walkable to most parts of Madrid. There are great restaurants, cafes, shops in the neighborhood.

Cute little hotel but it was very very noisy all night outside so be mindful of that. Also for the price I think they could have way more amenities (robes? At least free coffee at a minimum??)

Wonderful location! The hotel is lovely, with very thoughtful decor and a cozy and elegant vibe. The beds are very comfortable and even though the hotel is close to a busy area it is quiet for sleeping. Carolina was especially gracious and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit to Madrid & would definitely stay at Hotel du Temps again!

As far as I could tell, I never saw a server or service in their “restaurant” the three nights I spent there. Their electrical outlets were not all working or could not hold properly the plugs I used which were the correct ones. My room was cozy and offered a tiny balcony that could fit a stool.The neighborhood had a lot of character but was not clean. Lots of small mediocre restaurants.
