Great two night stay, gated car parking and great room

I find the hotel was nice & clean but there was no restaurant available when we arrived on the 20th, so we had to go else to eat and also the price we paid for our it did not include a cooked breakfast, so then we could only have continental breakfast and to go else where for a cooked one, very disappointing due to the price we paid for 3 nights. parking was handy, staff very apologetic about the breakfast.

Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast, great location.

This room was one of the apartments that Manning has next to its car park. The apartment was well-sized, very clean and had great amenities. This is in contrast to a room that I had in the main hotel a few months ago, I would try to get one of these apartments every time I visit Truro. Location is perfect for accessing restaurants, transport, and more.

The room was basic but clean. Do not really like a shower over the bath or a shower curtain. Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was basic.

The room was clean with usual facilities. Staff friendly. Parking excellent. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. Only toast or cereal supplied as part of the Bed and breakfast charge. Anything else had to be paid for as an extra. This wasn't expected and for the price of the room we feel that at the very least a continental style breakfast could have been supplied. We ended up going to a local cafe for a decent breakfast every day of our stay.

The rooms need updating and the bathroom had dirty grouting, rusty and dirty taps, also could do with secondary glazing as our room was right by the extractor fans. Breakfast was good and the staff very efficient.

Everything except the temperature in the room was great - far too hot to sleep well even with the small fan provided.

We booked this Hotel for a business stay, and it exceeded expectations. The accommodation was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described, offering excellent value for money. The staff were outstanding—responsive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The team was very impressed, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

Super location close to the Cathedral/ town centre. Very well equipped apartment if wish to self cater. Staff very pleasant.

Very nice hotel. Arrived and told i was upgraded to a room in the car park. Slightly worried but no need. It was a huge apartment block in the car park area. Massive room with kitchen. I left my toilet bag in the room and the reception were kind enough to post it back to me. That is service. I only had continental breakfast but was more than enough. Lots of choice. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay in centre of Truro

It’s very well located for the theatre only 400 meters away.

Arriving at the station the hotel is a 15/20 minute mainly downhill walk (buses and taxis are available). My room was at the corner of the hotel overlooking the city centre but it was very quiet. The room was well presented and maintained well throughout my stay. Continental breakfast options were good and free. Cooked breakfast options are extra and the “Mannings” breakfast is a very full plate! There is no lift at the hotel but this is made clear to guests in advance. All the staff I met were pleasant and helpful. Due to all the above and the good central location I would stay at Mannings again.
