It was a very nice place. Cottage was well sized for our family of 6. It was nicely equipped with good quality items. Very clean. Hot tub was very nice as well.

Everything was great except for a few flies in the room. Since the hotel is surrounded by open fields, it’s somewhat understandable. It would be helpful if the hotel installed bug zappers or other effective measures to keep the flies under control. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Beautiful room. Friendly staff. Good location for visiting various places in the snaefellsnes peninsula. Restaurant is expensive as to be expensive. Overall I would definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay in the share house. The bedroom was large and clean and the shared bathrooms were spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinner but was wishing we had booked into the onsite restaurant as it looked amazing. Made it in time for happy hour which was perfect after a big day of driving.

Wonderful stay in Snæfellsness! The room was large and comfortable. We enjoyed making breakfast and appreciated being able to do laundry. The geothermal springs were lovely. The restaurant was delicious.

This property was perfect for our group of seven. It’s spacious with plenty of room to move around, and the kayak, cold plunge, and hot tub were major highlights. You can also see sheep and horses on the property. We do wish laundry detergent was included with the property and wished the hot tub on the property worked, but it was out of order. Nearest grocery store is ~30 min away, so if you plan on cooking make sure to get your groceries ahead of time.

I stayed in the shared accommodation area, so had a small room with two beds and a common bathroom and kitchen. Room was small, but fine, and the kitchen is very well equipped. I ended up using the refrigerator to store some breakfast supplies, as I had an early morning hike planned. I was a bit worried about a shared bathroom, but it worked out fine, and the facilities are very nice. The spring fed hot tub was great after a day hiking, as was the natural cold plunge. I ate at the restaurant the night I arrived, and the meal was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Nice room. Good dining option. Only one bathroom for 3 rooms might be an issue. But it was ok for us, as only one other room in use. Nice kitchen with everything to prep a meal and breakfast.

Amazing property. The facilities and property are top notch. The restaurant is fantastic. I would recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant as there are not great options moving into the Peninsula. The rooms were impeccable. Clean, modern, top notch. Wish we would have stayed longer.

We were given two cot-sized twin beds in a hot attic room with sloped ceilings. My husband could not stand up. We could not stand in the shower. The walls were paper thin and the thin wooden doors that banged were very loud. We think the space was designed for a single family but they split it up into 3 separate rooms. We did not sleep well and I woke up with a back spasm. One toilet for 6 adults is not sufficient. They need to decide if they are a hotel or a summer camp.

We arrived later in the evening and easily checked in at the restaurant. Online it says something about checkin only being from 4-6 but the restaurant is open late (there were guests eating there when we arrived) so I'm not sure if that's correct or why it would be the case. Upon arrival, we quickly dropped off our belongings in the room & headed to the sauna & thermal bath. The sauna wasn't hot but the thermal bath was very nice (again, not too hot but nice). The facilities by the sauna were in good condition to change/shower. When we returned to our room we realized someone had left our window open and there were TONS of little nats/mosquitoes (not sure what they're called but they BITE) flying around the window and bed by the window. I started getting bitten instantly. Normally I would have called a hotel office to see if there was an alternative arrangement or a solution (bug spray?) but by this time, it was after 10 and there is a rule that you pay $100 to call for any issue other than an extreme emergency (like a fire). We didn't know if this qualified or if we'd be charged so we closed the window & curtains (which makes the pretty view & window pointless) & spent the rest of the evening lying completely under the covers & still somehow getting bitten by the bugs that remained in the room. It was impossible to get them out. Just as disappointing was our shower experience. It's too short to stand in. At checkout, the girl didn't really seem to care.. not cool at all.

The smallest room I've ever been in my life. I guess apartments have better comments, I did not get to see one. We stayed in a house with at least 8 bedrooms, all depending on 1 shared bathroom for men and one for women. If you only have 2, you should not label them "men" and "women", let people use any of them. This is an issue unless you are willing to wake up earlier when everyone is sleeping, that's what we did. Breakfast was not included but we decided to pay for it. The staff is not paying much attention to restocking pastry, coffee and other items (variety is not much anyway). At first, I thought they did it on purpose, so you don't eat much, but even though new guests were coming they did not move fast enough to brew fresh coffee or bring more food. Breakfast was $31 per person, expensive as expected in Iceland, but quantity and quality are not worth it. Guests love the geothermal area, but don't let this distract you from the other things you don't get. On a positive note, this could be your option to lower hotel costs at the end of the Ring Road adventure, that's the way we saw it!

The room was clean, in our shared bathroom I never had a problem, it was large and clean. The food was delicious, the lamb was the absolute best. The only thing I would recommend is a better shower curtain in the shared bathroom at ommuhus since people on the street can see into the shower. Overall the hotel is a great option! Very quaint and welcoming, but not too rustic haha

We stayed here for one night as we toured through Iceland. I wish we had longer, as the property is pretty with sheep roaming around. It was fun to hear "baaa" outside of our windows during the night! The common area was sufficient for our family of four adults. Parking was next to building, and sidewalk was smooth to roll suitcases to the end unit. The ~24 hrs of sunlight gave us extra time to see the sights as we passed through, This place is incredibly quiet, and I felt guilty making noise as we came in at midnight and left early the next morning. If your crowd is rowdy, it is something you may want to consider. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant, and I was sad that it didn't work out. Everything looked wonderful. Everything was beautiful and clean, and we would stay again on our next trip through Iceland.
