The staff was so supportive with my broken spanish. They were very helpful with locations for exploring, areas to visit, food locations and general vacation stay. I am a night owl and work through the night while sleeping until mid-day and they were very curteous with my cleaning needs being at odd hours. The ONLY issue I had with this amazing property was the inconsistent wifi: it kep cutting out, was very weak and dropped sites often. While not an issue for vacationers, when trying to work online, this was problematic. The Staff made every effort ( including rebooting the server late at night for me) to address this and it is NOT a blight on the staff or location. (well maybe - old wiring and stone walls do not like wifi). HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN AMAZING AND UNIQUE EXPERIENCE.

loved the hotel location, super clean, quiet and friendly staff. would totally come back and stay several days again. amazing food locations near the hotel. if you want amazing coffee go to Cafe Conquistador (around the corner from hotel) less than 5 minute walk.

The furniture is very old, the mattress is very hard like a rock and difficult to get comfortable, the rooms are very small.

The hotel is in the middle of el Centro and the hotel staff are very professional and helpful.

Location, price, gorgeous original style rooms. Rooms are somewhat small but that’s normal for this city.

I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Perfect location since everything is walking distance, wifi was good, very clean and quiet atleast for me. I understand is a very old building so a bit of humidity smell, l guess is because of the wood beams on the ceiling but nothing out of the ordinary. I will give it a 9 because of the staff, cleanliness, location and specially the affordable price. Will recommend it.

We arrived unexpectedly a day earlier than our scheduled reservation at Hotel Mesón del Rosario. The staff on duty, Martha, was very helpful by accommodating us. This gem of an historic Hotel built in 1749 is so charming, clean, the rooms are very nice and the staff & management couldn't have been nicer. The Hotel is located in the Central District near many shops, restaurants and activities. It's approximately a 5 minute walk to the lovely El Jardín de la Unión, the main central park that's always lively. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Loved this hotel! Clean, all the employees were super nice, Martha the receptionist as well as a young man who speaks English but unfortunately don’t recall his name, were very helpful and courteous.

Very basic hotel, well located, used it for one night as road blockages affected our plans, its location is good, near to everything. Only issue was the low water pressure on the shower.

The location is great once you get there. Anywhere in the Centro will be a challenge to get to and there is almost no space to stop and unload near the entrance. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. No AC but the rooms had electric fans which was enough in the evening with a window open. There was noise from a nearby band playing when we went to bed but they stopped by 10pm and it was a quiet area the rest of the night. We had two rooms and in one the bathroom was extremely small, with the shower spraying onto the sink area and even close to an outlet. Parking was the biggest disapointment. The Expedia listed said they had parking available for 250 mx pesos. We finally drove to the lot they told us to go to and not only was it very far away, but they told us they did not have an agreement with our hotel and that it would cost 350 mx pesos. It was so far away we did not want to walk with suitcases all the way across town the next morning and driving to pick up our bags would be a long, complicated route. So instead we paid more for a closer public lot.

The personal so nice, the room was clean. The only thing I didn't like that we had to look for parking I we got lost in the tunnels.
