Sticky stains on the carpet, stains on the 'clean' bedding and towels (photos taken), window latches were worn and didn't work properly, furniture was old and in poor condition, the mattress was old, sagging and uncomfortable, noisy room by the main road, insufficient parking so had to park on the main road overnight. Massively overpriced (nearly £200 for two nights) for an uncomfortable, noisy, stained, dated, poorly kept room and virtually no services (breakfast not included). Definitely won't be visitng again.

Arrived and no one was on the desk and you couldn't enter the property, they all leave at 5pm so myself and another guest tried to reach them on the number pinned on the glass of the door (luckily my phone was charged). The key safes they want you to unlocked were not all numbered so we had to work out which one was ours, then they wouldn't unlock (this wasn't just me, another guest was with me attempting to unlock hers). Finally got it open, then got into my room. The floor was thick (hard to describe but like a carpet with residue locked in) and the bath was dirty (not sure if stained or just not cleaned correctly). The room was baking hot with a tall fan and windows that would not open. No breakfast was available at the property.

Conveniently placed

There were no staff on site as they leave at 5pm and the email to advise how to find a key safe was not immediately available. The key safe was not numbered and myself and another guest were trying to work it out while on the phone to someone from the hotel. When i got in, the windows do not open and it was a very hot evening so a fan was pushing hot air around the room as no air con. The bath had lots of marks on it and i'm unsure if they were stains or just generally unclean. The marks were brown so very off putting. The carpet felt thick with something and although it wasn't sticky, it didn't feel very clean. Overall, the location is good and it worked for what i needed it for. The bed was OK and the bedding looked clean but it wasn't worth the nightly rate as it was more expensive than holiday inn and other chains.

Nice hotel just on the edge of the town centre .short stroll from the train station. Plenty of cafes , bars restaurants near by .hotel does not do b&b , lovely staff and rooms are adequate. Car park is small done on a 1st come basis, Our 2nd stay there . Word of warning . Warwick hospital is further up the road and ambulance Sirens can be heard through the night !

Spent a lovely family night away and was in a perfect location

Clean room, my room was nice and spacious. It's a lovely stay if you are out and about alot in the city and just need somewhere to rest your head.

The room was fine and bed comfortable. Tthere were no staff to check you in or out. As a hotel I expected a restaurant and bar on site but this area was closed and no breakfast is offered either.

The room was very clean. The woman who checked us in was super friendly.

We were unable to check in after hours as property provided the wrong phone number. Despite their mistake, they refuse to refund us. We had to find another hotel late night in an unfamiliar town and country.

Lovely and friendly welcome

Very clean, spacious rooms, excellent price. However, it was a shame the parking was closed.

There weren’t enough parking spaces if hotel was fully booked, the town is a short walk, as is the Castle, Hotel room was ok, shower and facilities in the room were fine, would have rated higher, had we not had a fire alarm late in the evening, and there was no on site night porter, which is illegal, it took about 5 minutes for some to come and sort out the alarm, which turned out to be an accident, as someone opened their door to turn the light on, but hit the fire alarm. If they sorted out the Night Porter on site, to make you feel safe, I would return.

Slight difficulties checking in due to a staff personal emergency but manager Michael sorted everything via phone and was extremely helpful. Room was nice and clean, sheets and towels changed daily and was quiet at night despite room facing main road. Location is ecellent, just a short walk from town, pubs and station. Very enjoyable stay, would recommend.
