It would have been a five star but the shower/bathtub combo was scary. Very high tub to step over, no grab bars, and awkward door. The breakfast was good on level 6 in the hotel: Loved the pancakes and bacon. Vegetarian Husband loved the veggie sausage and eggs. Beautiful area with walking trails, a theater and restaurants.

Great friendly professional staff. In a great location with bars and restaurants just outside. Ate in the 6th floor restaurant which had great views and quality food. Mention to Stefan concierge who helped with our questions.

The staff was extremely helpful and they held our luggage and provided a very easy transport to our cruise ship.

The room was spacious and clean although there was a noticeable chip out of the wardrobe beading. The HarBar6th could have been cleaner a lot of crumbs trapped between the tile top and glass. Lunch in the Jetty restaurant was good, but the table was not cleared at the completion of dessert course and no tea or coffee offered. Somewhat disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

For the price, not worth it. The hotel itself was fine. There were some annoying things that stood out though. For example, if you need to use a hair dryer, they provide one but there's no plug in the bathroom. And when you use it outside of the bathroom, there is no mirror with a plug nearby. We also had the front desk help us schedule taxis to take us to the cruise port. Beware...we waited for more than 30 minutes and only one taxi arrived (we needed two). After more than half an hour of waiting, I went to the front desk, which was not helpful. I was hoping they would at least contact the taxi company to check on the status of the second ride, but all they did was assure me that it was coming. After 45 minutes of waiting, I got an Uber instead. For such a high status hotel, I just expected overall better customer service. There's something about the front desk staff as well - they did not come across as very warm. They were professional and answered questions, but something felt missing.

Beautiful location on the Southampton waterfront and close to several museums, restaurants and shops. The hotel was very nice but the shower was not very hot and turned cold during a shower. The restaurant was nice but very expensive. Nearby restaurants were much better.

The room was immaculate upon our arrival and the breakfast was a typical normal continental breakfast. The view was exceptional and the location for our cruise terminal was superb. All in all - it was a wonderful place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer or arrived earlier to investigate the area.

In my opinion, the room rate is too expensive, as is the restaurant. Furthermore, the room rate does not include a breakfast buffet. If I return to Southampton, I would choose a different hotel.

Electric in room was confusing.

Not a 5 star hotel by a long shot Noisy doors shutting with all other rooms all hours of the night and very early before 6am (use some damper pads on all room doors) 2 Dripping shower head 3 Wifi is terrible for a 5 star establishment 4 No phone directory in room 5 No casting option to TV 6 Waiters at HarBar on 6th need to be trained on how to work a 5 star establishment. Food was excellent, service was comical at times, good entertainment though No blackout curtains or curtains that completely block out the light, at 5:30am room was brighter than shining star. Stayed in better 3 star rated rooms places

Excellent hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, food on 6th delicious, fabulous atmosphere. Room clean and bright. Super comfortable bed and very quiet. Great location for town. Love this hotel and will be staying again.
