very nice relazxing place to spend time with the familly

The Polynesian room was very big but had old furniture, bad smell and a filthy carpet on the hall way. I think it had bed bugs. I had a few bites when I woke up in the morning. The shower area was smelly. This hotel needs a good remodeling.

No AC room was extremely hot slept with the patio door open and ceiling fan

Room was very humid no AC and hotel is outdated needs lots of repairs. Staff was great and owners were friendly.

Great location on the beach and adjoined to good restaurant and nearby other eateries. But the parking is just ok. If you’re not lucky, you’re forced to park across the busy street where cars whiz by at fast speeds. Also, I had reserved a $70 room but was charged for an upgrade (didn’t ask for it - was told the room I reserved was not useable) at $129. I normally would have balked but the clerk waived the $30 dog fee and handed me a few margaritas. And I was in Mexico where stuff can go down. Next time, I’ll pay in advance.

The room I booked was not available. No front desk person just a guy who came out and walked us to a couple different rooms. The place felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Poorly lit. Would not recommend on my worst day

Beautiful, Clean, Sweet staff and Tranquilo

First off if you are looking for a hotel with access to the beach you found it! This hotel’s view are so worth the stay here. We stayed at the blue lagoon and had a beautiful view! The staff is so helpful and attentive it is hard to find a place that offers that at home vibe which this place does. There is no A/C but with the balacony door open and hearing the waves so close it does not even matter. This is a hidden gem for sure! The beach you stay it is kinda private and you get to walk down some strairs straight to the beach! 5 stars for the location and stay here.

This place has great charm but our room smelled like urine so bad. The restroom was even worse. The restroom floor is rock and it smelled like no one had scrubbed the floor in years. I asked them to clean it, and they did, however it did not help at all. It did masked the stench for a bit. It’s ruined the entire experience. No one wants to hang out in a room or sleep where the entire premises smells like a back alley. I don’t care if it’s oceanfront or not. It was not worth it. We will not be back.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our 3 night stay at Poco Cielo. We loved our room.....the Polynesian Room. The room was very large and uniquely decorated. We loved the private balcony with the beautiful ocean view. We loved, every evening, sitting on the balcony and watching sunset over the ocean. We were able to see dolphins jumping in the water every late afternoon from our balcony. Norman at the restaurant and his father Oscar were so friendly to us and very professional. The reception people were also very nice and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious. We will definitely stay at Poco Cielo again. We are so glad we discovered this beautiful hotel and location.
