Top notch hotel! I will stay here again. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and gracious. I booked the hotel last minute and my room was ready instantly, the bed larger than I expected and the two windows had nice views! The mattress, bedding and pillows were comfortable and very plush. The property is as close to the water as you can get with lovely shops and restaurants all around. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and welcome. There was coffee and tea in the room and powerful AC that was much appreciated since I was here during the massive heat wave that broke records across Europe. Merci to the staff for a wonderful stay! 🌸

We stayed in a large room for one night - I had chosen the hotel on its design as shown on Expedia - it’s been updated, from industrial to slightly tacky with a profusion of multicolor grotesque chandeliers… and the courtyard has been transformed into the breakfast room. Not my taste anymore! It would be great to have updated pictures for the advert. The staff was lovely. The breakfast had an abundance of choice - great - just a shame that the pains au chocolat were not fresh. Apart from that, the room and bathroom were very large and, most importantly with the incredibly hot weather, the room aircon was working!

Muy buen lugar, camas cómodas, me gustó que puedes elegir cuando limpian el cuarto y cuando no. Lo único que no le gustó fue que el aire acondicionado hacía algunos ruidos raros en la noche.

The parking was the only difficulty - finding the actual car park, and organising the parking permit. Better info should have been sent via Hotels,com. Staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, and dealt with all other issues effectively.

The Parking available? Definitely NOT ! Impossible to approach the hotel by car because of the one-way streets all around the hotel. Prepare to find a parking first and then carry all your luggage to the hotel. The staff wasn’t very helpful to find a solution. After a long and stressful trip, to be confronted with a guy at the desk who didn’t seem to know a solution to my problem or didn’t want to help, was very upsetting. The shower was not well made, so the water ran to the bathroom floor instead of in the drain. The cover of the toilet seat was broken and remained broken during our 3 days stay. 3 stars.

Hotel is well located , close to centre - no parking so you will have to pay each day - our room was tiny - bed was 1 foot from toilet and shower room . Close to all restaurants and shops , big wheel etc etc

Nice clean room, great for the price and location

We had a family room wuth onr large double bed and two singles. The beds were extremely comfortable. The sher was a walk-in shower which was ideal fir people with motility issues and the contintal breakast as an extra was good vale fir money and a gpod selection of cheeses and cold meats.

Better food options

Shower are too slippery, no moisturizer provided, ac is right in your face as you sleep, small window that open to a small court yard with everyone else , so no privacy if you want to open windows , can smell people smoking thru the windows

Location and cleanliness perfect for a short stay in the lovely port of La Rochelle

Only issue was that the directions issued did not take me to the hotel! Apart from that, a great place to stay with excellent access to the port and surrounding areas. Staff at reception really helpful too.
