The restaurant food was cold and the wait to receive our food was horrible, some persons in our group received their food before others . (Meaning they finished while others were still waiting)And there was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. The pool we didn’t get a chance to enjoy, the water was dirty with algae. I was disappointed what we experienced, since our family came down for vacation and we have stayed in Tijuana and Mexicali Lucerna Hotel and the stayed was great.

This is a beautiful hotel, unfortunately, the room was not very clean and the bathroom smelled horrible like sewer. When I called to let them know about the smell problem, they didn't offer to give me a different room and the plumber just came to the room and threw a liquid and left. The solution just lasted 30 minutes and the smell was bad all night. It was difficult to sleep :-(

The pool was green and unclean so i couldn't use it. Very disappointed. The room was okay. Its getting run down for sure and needs updating. But it's very much like most of the hotels in ensenada. Overpriced for the quality you get. So there's no need to update. Disappointed

I was in town for my daughter‘s sports tournament in Ensenada and didn’t know the area at all. I chose this place from basic research but wasn’t sure what I would find when I arrived. The hotel is way more chic and awesome than I expected and I was so happy with my choice!! I loved how the hotel is on the outskirts of town so it’s much quieter and less busy and so easy to access from the main road. If my daughter has another tournament next year, then I plan to stay here as it was an excellent choice.

Nice Hotel and rooms are big also comfortable beds. As respects, to breakfast it was good but little pricey and they charge extra for bottle water

Amazing Stay at Lucerna Ensenada Lucerna Hotel in Ensenada completely exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of business-friendly and resort relaxation, this is it.The Room: Spacious, modern, and spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the blackout curtains actually work — I slept great. Strong AC, good WiFi, and a safe big enough for a laptop. The Property: Beautifully maintained with a gorgeous pool area. The gardens and koi pond make it feel like an oasis right in the city. Everything feels upscale but not stuffy.The Food: Los Lagos Restaurant was a standout. Breakfast buffet had everything from chilaquiles to fresh fruit and made-to-order omelets. Had dinner there too — the seafood was fresh and the margaritas were perfect.The Staff: This is what really made it 5 stars. Front desk, restaurant, housekeeping — everyone was genuinely warm and went out of their way to help. Valet parking was fast and secure.Location: Walking distance to the malecón and Riviera Cultural Center. Super safe area and easy to get an Uber to Valle de Guadalupe for wine tours.Best hotel in Ensenada hands down. Already planning to come back.

The staff was really nice and welcoming. Only thing i would say it to keep up with the pool towels because they had me to back and forth to reception because they ran out of towels.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

Lobby is beautiful. Room was nice. Ocean view was nice if you were not at the railing. There’s a dilapidated building and lots to the left and right. The pool was cold. The hot tub was lukewarm. My friend and I both got sick.

Everyone is great, willing to help my second time here and will come back to stay.

We had a problem, ones we arrive they gave my room to someone else I had previously booked a month in advance to a different person. They offer me a room upgrade but did not work. Do to us being 4 and they were trying to give me a king size bed. When I had previously booked 2 queen beds with ocean view and balcony. They ended us giving a regular room with 2 queen beds and free breakfast for 1 day. The staff at the restaurants and bar were super friendly and always on point. They could do a little better with the restroom cleaning on the main lobby. The food is great no complaints on that. The staff at the front desk is friendly and the valet parking was great.

The staff was wonderful and very attentive! From first stepping foot in the lobby every one was very helpful. We had valet parking and they helped us take our luggage to our room. The pool area was my favorite part of it all, as soon as we got to the pool the staff went iver to take our order for drinks and food, which also was very tasty! The room was nice and soacious just one thing and idk if its the hotel to blame but in the late afternoon the restroom gave off a bad sewer smell. Overall it was a great experience!

Excellent Hotel with a great view. Just outside Ensenada, 10 min. drive to downtown. Nice clean and spacious room; staff very helpful and friendly. Great deal with Hotels.com
