Very clean

Quirky, fun, hostel-like property. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed both pools and the area. It's a chill, relaxed environment at Nilu and the area. My morning routine was to get a cappuccino nearby at 360, walk to the beach and watch the surfers.

The staff was fantastic specially Monse !! Very cool staff good food and nice vibe !! We even did salsa lesson and after they had a live salsa band!!

Both pools were actually gross, oily murky water, loud at night, would not recommend.

Front desk was not responsive and not helpful, however, the room was clean and was in a perfect location.

Selina security workers are very rude and my room access key has a lot of problems, they replaced the batteries twice in the same day. Also, Water pressure was off in the morning during our stay.

They need to update the pictures they have on there website, we rented the suite and it was very dirty and difficult to get to, they didn’t even offer to help us take the suitcase through all the 340 stairs steps to get to the suite, it’s very old and the a/c was not working right, also some how someone went inside our room, when we were getting to the room a guy was coming out. They try to blame us that we had left the door open. And that was not true. Also the restrooms smell really bad. I will definitely will never stay in that nasty old place.

Beware! Hotel reception staff has no consideration for age if you decide to reserve a room with a bathroom. I had to walk up a flight of stairs with over 100 steps to get to my room :-(

Great location. Great restaurant with great food. We were located on the third floor. The hostel only has stairs so be prepared to walk up 100-200 steps to get to your room every time you come and go. It’s fairly tough when you are carrying your luggage or groceries.

Overall great property but staff is not great and location is ok.

Our second stay at the Selina in Puerto Escondido, clean room excellent staff great location.

I love the distance to the bars. Not too close but not too far. You don't hear the music as much as other hotels.
