The room was ok, but smelled of humidity and a bit mouldy.

Upon arriving at the address, we couldn't believe we were in the right place. I does not look like any normal hotel and when we called the number, we were told they wouldnopen until 4 so we came back then. once the doors were oenm

This is a unique place to stay. It is a very old building with lots of character - our room had wooden beams! The breakfast is given to you in a basket and you eat it in your room. The receptionist was so polite and friendly and so helpful with recommendations. The hotel is ideally situated only minutes away from the city centre. The city took us by surprise - it is stunning! You can park on site but you have to pay €20 but it is worth it for peace of mind.

Lovely little spot to explore Troyes

This hotel is not in good condition. Scalding water temperature; continuously leaking bathroom faucet; bathtub with a sign -not for use; peeling ‘leather’ couch with a too small cover to hide the condition. WIFI was not operable for more than 24 hours. Indifferent staff.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel. So quirky and full of character. Beds - amazing, best sleep ever. Walkable everywhere in Troyes old town, plenty of restaurants and cafes on your door step, grocery shop 5 min walk away. Lovely owners and housekeeping girls. Will definitely stay again as we are in this area often visiting my husband’s family. Definitely recommend!

The hotel proprietor was so friendly and kind. The courtyard was relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. The beds and pillows were comfortable. And the inside of our suite was lovely.

Having had your booking confirmation we got there at about 7pm and found it closed. A telephone call established that no room was available so we had to find with considerable difficulty a smaller room at twice the price. No explanation was given for the muddle.

On the day we were to arrive, The hotel emailed saying the room had technical issues and we had to be moved to another hotel. Since the other hotel was not at all the quality of the original booking we declined the offer. The hotel would not refund the original nights fee. Disappointed the entire experience

We arrived at the hotel in a thunderstorm, so after 10.5 hours worth of driving it did taint the experience slightly. It said it had hotel parking but I wasn’t aware there was a charge for this until I arrived. They didn’t have space (I didn’t anticipate that as being an issue but luckily parked 5 mins away. Like I said, if it was a thunderstorm it would have been so bad but we all got soaked through. If you are looking for a quirky hotel then this one in for you. Not modern at all but rather in keeping with the area. Family run hotel and the owners were very nice.

The hotel is a bit funky but very charming and comfortable. Our suite was large and had a private outdoor terrace which was lovely. Troyes is a marvelous place and the hotel is convenient to the train and city center

Room was awful, tiny, bathroom dirty, not a proper AC unit, very old noisy. Blood stain on hand towel. No smoke alarms which I think is against French law. Talked into breakfast by owner, again absolutely awful, basket left outside room. Advertised as a 5 star hotel, not an official rating, more like 2 star. Requested milk to make some tea, never happened. Please look a pictures.

Nice and quiet location! The bed was really comfortable and we got a good night sleep… very affordable also!

Building is 500 years old (but renovated), very well located, reception extremely kind and helpful.

Great place, good location, very friendly staff. Old house with the usual wonky floors/staircase. Only Negative - so far the most expensive place for parking ( in France) we have stayed at, not good to be No1.

it was truly amazing to stay in place with that much history behind it. It is well preserved and well run.
