The staff was very friendly, the property is very quiet and rooms not small

Lovely property and tasty restaurant. French fries serving with the meals can be more.

It was our second time staying at De Kastanjefabriek. Last time was with COVID in full swing, now we could really enjoy the tasty breakfast. Dinner locations are plenty in Eibergen, same with walking and bicycling trails. Excellent and quiet location. One small note for others: unless you hang the sign for "cleaning please" on your door, your room won't be touched by the staff. This wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in. On the second day we ended up asking for fresh towels at 6PM at the reception...

Very helpful staff, great rooms, beautiful surroundings. Breakfast is simple but everything on offer is fresh and delicious.

I don’t write these usually, but this was so great that I want you to choice this hotel too. Worth to give all points for this. The first hotel this year for me with proper ventilation in room too. I would give 11 points out of 10 if they would have holder/base for the bag, but even when my bag had to be on the floor, this was worth of 10/10

This hotel is in a perfect place and rooms are fine.

"De Kastanjefabriek"surpassed our expectations. Situated some 8 km from Germany in Eibergen in green lawned grounds,plenty of parking space some 40 yds from the entrance door,a lift,staircase (no risers),vending machines on first floor landing.Swift check-in.Card key opened the door to our huge spacious clean room.Work top, sink, electric kettle, tea,coffee,creamer,sugar,fridge (no freezer), 2 glasses, coffee cups, glass tea cups, small plates,cutlery,tea towels.Open cupboard with a rail/hangers for clothes,cube space storage. Table, 2 chairs,floor lamp, still lots of space sufficient to swing a jaguar in without bumping into any of our luggage. A picture with the dark muted colours of the old Dutch Masters but on closer inspection ultra modern rather than Rembrandt. Bathroom? Through the door past the loo was a heavenly rain shower with huge head,also a small shower on a hose, in glass cubicle. Large sink, large mirror above a shelf. Two each tiny nice smelling shower gels, shampoo, little soaps. The heavenly shower was truly blissful especially after the long journey. Comfortable beds-duvet,crisp clean white sheets. Modern but comfortable,good lighting,new clean appearance, thoughtfully planned with good quality fittings, quiet.Some 200 yds over bridge along the road from the hotel filled up at Peugeot garage/self service Total Express,cheapest diesel we had seen in 3 countries.Breakfast available(August 2018) Owners are pleasant and speak perfect English. Return? YES.

Tolles Hotel. Nur schade das nuemand deutsch spricht. Würden wir jederzeit wieder hin fahren.

Geweldige kamer!!

Gastvrije ontvangst, heel mooie kamer. Zelfs een basis keuken gedeelte met borden, bestek, etc. Handig gelegen met winkels op loopafstand. Rustige omgeving.

kurzer zwischenstopp, sauber, ruhig gelegen, geräumiges zimmer tv und schrank wechseln, somit kan man besser aus dem bett tv sehen :-)
