The hosts were amazing; very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed and was nice and warm. The location is excellent. We had a car and found it really easy to use the park and ride nearby and catch the bus into town.

Chris and Louise are friendly and responsive. They both offered helpful information and recommendations and went the extra mile to be hospitable. The breakfasts were excellent and helped start the day in an easy relaxed way. The facilities were clean and well cared for. It was an easy walk into the center of town and buses were frequent for coming up the hill after a full day. Great place to stay.

Good location. Friendly welcome. Well equipped clean room, comfortable bed. Extra touches like ground coffee for the cafetiere were welcoming too.

Louise was a great host and very helpful. Parking available quite near. 25 min walk into the main high st . £7 taxi back up hill 😀

Great stay. Not for anyone who struggles with walking. There are options to ride the bus and that would help anyone who doesn’t want to walk uphill for a mile or so.

Chris and Louise were so friendly and welcoming! The room was spacious for three people, clean, and comfortable. Chris was helpful in planning our trip around Bath and the area. We look forward to staying here again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Devonshire House. The owner had great communication prior to my visit. I ordered the optional breakfast, which I highly recommend. There are not a lot of options right around the hotel, and the breakfast was a lot of food delivered right to my door! The walk into the center of Bath is a nice one and downhill. You may want a taxi coming back! A very quiet, clean, comfortable, and spacious room. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Not as central to the main attractions as other hotels, but a good price and excellent stay.

The place was nice but the room was facing the main road and there was lot of noise at night.

A super place to stay for our first trip to Bath. Liz was a very welcoming host and very helpful during our stay. Our rooms were comfortable and spotless and had great facilities. The location was easy to get into the city centre using the local bus service. We enjoyed the optional breakfast which was very filling and set us up for our day. A lovely find and recommended 10/10.

Very friendly and helpful owner greeted us upon arrival and room was extreamly clean and comfortable. We didnt have breakfast so can not comment on that, but overall the stay was excellent and just what was required.
