Very friendly & helpful staff

The hotel is very nice, all the staff are very friendly, even though it is expensive but it is worth it.

Please update the TV with Smart TV where we can enjoy streaming services How come there is no trash bin in the living room?

Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Room is spacious. In-room facilities are perfect. Everything I need is in the room. Location is the best, just besides malls and eateries. The only downside is the breakfast option. Quite disappointed with the options and taste. As Indonesia is popular with good food, I'm expecting more. Hope this will be improve in the future. Overall, I has great time during my stay here.

The location is good. Nice place to stay. Easy access to the malls, Sederhana Nasi Padang, Thamrin, etc.

Compared to other Ascotts, this one is old and dirty. Old carpets with visible dirt greeted us from the start of the check-in process. The standard receptionist tended to be unprepared (on standby), perhaps because we checked in early in the morning. And she was coughing (she tried to hold back her cough several times but couldn't), making the initial experience quite lacking. The room is spacious, cold, and has an old vibe. Some appliances use three-prong plugs (iron, water heater), and these are only available in the room. There are none in the kitchen or living room. The electric stove didn't work. The hot water dispenser didn't work, but after reporting it, it was quickly replaced. The restaurant is small. It can't accommodate breakfast guests. At 8:30, many guests had to wait on the waiting list, including us. There aren't many food options. The taste is standard. Plus: close to the GI

Location is perfect. Just nearby the Thamrin Mall, Plaza Indonesia, and Grand Indonesia Mall. Just walk around 5 minutes like that.

The room was spacious, everything was clean from floor to bathrooms. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and well-maintained. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We have been staying at this Ascott Thamrin a few times already. We are familiar with the locations, where you can either shop at expensive places like GI or Plaza Indonesia, or a cheaper place like Thamrin City. Options for food/restaurants are varied as well. Transportation is convenient at this location; you can go in many directions from the center of Jakarta, using, for example, MyBluebird, which can be trusted in such a huge city.

The place is clean, the downside is it's a bit scary

Check-in was possible a few hours early. The family loved the spacious, clean living room, and proximity to Thamrin City and Grand Indonesia. Every time we visit Jakarta, it's always a favorite place to stay.

Stay was terrible, first room smelt terrible they didnt clean it even though they said they would. Safety box was broken, was moved to a different room afterwards but that also had the same terrible horrific smell. Issue after issue every day - over crowded do not book.
