A big no, the room was dirty. And I stayed in a 4-bedroom suite! The AC wasn't cooling. The floor was cracked. I opened the curtains, and the balcony was super dirty. I asked for a mop, but housekeeping came and mopped with dirty water. The bathroom also smelled, and the bathtub was dirty. Oh dear. This is the kind of service a Grand Tropic has. I've complained numerous times, but it's just "yeah, yeah." No apologies, no complimentary service, or anything. A big no for a hotel like this. A room worth Rp1 million isn't worth it, but you get this.

To take a bath, you need to stand in the bathtub; there is no separate shower. This is inconvenient as not everyone wants to relax in a bathtub every day. The toilet is too far to the right, and the bidet is to the left, which is uncomfortable for a right-handed person. The bed is advertised as a king-size bed, but it's actually two single beds combined into one, so if you sleep in the center like me, there will be a gap that keeps widening during sleep. The staff are friendly, but the facilities are not good enough for a 4-star hotel.

The rooms are comfortable. The garden and pool are great for hanging out. Be prepared to pay a bit more, as the deposit is quite hefty at 500,000.

It's an old hotel/apt/building, so be prepared with old furniture (wardrobe, kitchen, etc.). Don't expect too much for the room's look. Budget-wise is very good.

The hotel staff was friendly, from the security guard to the receptionist. I took a 2BR room. As soon as I opened the door, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant musty smell, like entering a warehouse. The room and its contents looked old and neglected, and the property itself looked very worn and uncomfortable. The hot water took a long time to come, as did the bathroom floor. The breakfast was terrible, far beyond what I expected from the photos I saw on the app. Overall, I was disappointed, and I apologize.

I didn't expect much when I booked this hotel, as the price was very affordable. The comfort exceeded my expectations. While the building may look like an old hotel, the rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable for families. The kids were especially comfortable, as they had plenty of space to play in the rooms. It just needs a little renovation to make it even more comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly, except for one female receptionist who struggled to smile, greeting me insincerely, and needed to be upgraded. Other than that, the room was spacious and comfortable, and overall okay, but the mattress was a bit hard, and the wardrobe was starting to break. The swimming pool was nice, with a sandpit for kids, but I think it was still a bit small and not as nice as I had imagined. The kitchen was quite spacious, but it was still lacking in amenities, as there was no stove for cooking. There were only 4 small bottles of mineral water provided for 4 people, but more would have been nice. Hopefully, this is helpful, thank you.

The rooms and other things were fine, but unfortunately, the hotel's enforcement was lacking. There were children swimming without swimsuits in the pool, but they took a long time to address the issue. It was very disruptive.

I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. For a 4-star hotel, the dirty, slippery, and cockroach-infested room was completely unacceptable. This clearly falls short of the expected cleanliness standards. Furthermore, the breakfast was also very poor, both in terms of taste and menu variety. I hope management will address this issue seriously, as this experience has significantly impacted our assessment of the hotel. Thank you.
