I stayed at this hotel for treatment at Island Hospital. It's not too far, and it cost RM5 to get there by Grab. My mother uses a wheelchair, but no hotel staff assisted us, either during check-in or check-out, or even to help push or carry our luggage into the lobby. The ramp for wheelchairs and suitcases is also small and steep, making it dangerous for wheelchair users. Luckily, my Grab driver was very kind and helped push my mother in her wheelchair and carry her luggage into the lobby during check-in.
The receptionist didn't smile at all, was stiff, and didn't greet me.
The hotel tax is RM12, and there's a RM50 deposit (refundable upon check-out).
The bathroom was dirty, especially behind the toilet, with what looked like black stains. It was a bit ticklish to use. The toilet seat was also dirty, with cigarette burns, peeling parts, and other stains. The bathroom floor didn't have a mat, making it a bit slippery. The sink faucet had a small leak.
The bed slid between the mattress and the wooden frame, which was a bit dangerous.
The noise from the neighboring building could be heard in the room, which was very disturbing.
On the positive side: the room was spacious enough for two people. There was a water dispenser near the room, offering hot and cold water, and you could take as much as you wanted. The elevator, although small, functioned well.
In conclusion: I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. I only booked for one night and didn't want to extend.
