This hotel is absolutely beautiful! It is in a perfect location, walkable to many sights, shopping, and dining. Outside the hotel is very busy, yet the hotel room was extremely quiet. One of the two elevators was mal-functioning, which was a bit of an inconvenience, but they were working hard to make it operational again. Staff were all wonderful!

Condes is one of the rare hotels where you will consistently get excellent service in Barcelona everytime and the location is perfect walking distance from everything.

I stayed 4 nights and had an amazing time. The hotel is in a great location, close to the stores and in a very safe area. Customer services was stellar, everyone was friendly, professional and went the extra mile to make feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel has a breakfast buffet, good enough to grab a bite if you’re in hurry. There are several restaurants and options to eat within feet of the hotel. The room was very clean, comfy and spacious. Be aware that the hotel is next to a busy street and blvd, but the noise wasn’t bad. I’ll definitely be back.

Rooftop bar service was subpar on two visits, primarily due to waiting 10+ minutes for a waiter. Breakfast plan was ok. Front desk service was ok at best. No one asked to take our bags to room, and I had to ask twice for a final statement during checkout.

Wonderful city and service

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. One room was exactly as we booked and great. The other room had a lot to be desired. It was not the room category we booked. The room had a tub/shower combo which was very slippery. The room only had one sink and was very cramped even though the description said two sinks. Bathroom could use a good cleaning as there were stains on the walls that could easily be cleaned off. Location was very good as was breakfast buffet. Front desk staff was not very helpful or friendly. We will find another hotel next time we are in Barcelona as we did not get what we paid for.

When I checked in, I asked if I could stay on the same floor as my friends and relatives as we had individually booked for 5 rooms. However, I was told by the receptionist, Eduardo, rather impolitely that I paid less than them, there’s nothing for me. When I checked their prices, the difference is not that much. The rudeness and impoliteness is not acceptable! Perhaps the management[ needs to re-train the staff for better service! Thank you!
