The room were good and staff nice

Hotel was nice. Staff very friendly. I was a little disappointed with the room size, it was really small. Not much surface space, very hard to get ready with skincare and make up products not having a place. Very small shower and toilet, sink in the actual bedroom, next to the bed. Very unique I suppose. The room was clean and had nice modern decor. Over all, a nice hotel still.

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great location, close to subway and light rail.

Really liked the hotel, I got a great room and the reception area was very nice. It s central for everything and, surprisingly, the room was quiet at night. Anetta was very professional and understanding as I arrived early, truly she s an asset to this establishment.Great cofee in room and complimentary water as well.

Really enjoyed my experience! Staff was very kind & accommodating. Breakfast was great! Location was very good & safe. It was central & close to everything, including just steps from Dam Square. I recommend staying here.

The windows were blocked, and there was no ventilation in the room. The carpet was quite old, and the bathroom had an unpleasant odor (perhaps due to the drainpipes). Since I couldn't open the windows, the air in the room was very heavy.

Clean and safe.

Our stay was excellent. With that said, I am giving serious consideration to not using Expedia for future travel. The days before my arrival I was receiving "Important/critical" text messages asking me to reply to text messages from the hotel. The messages were offers to have amenities added to my stay. Definitely not critical or urgent. If I skip Expedia and book directly with the hotel I can avoid this nonsense.

The hotel was lovely and had been updated. It was centrally located and extremely clean. The breakfast was nice and fresh. However, when we checked in we were given keys to a room that someone was already staying in and when we walked in, a woman was sleeping in bed. It was a very uncomfortable situation. The woman working the front desk didn’t seem to think it was a big deal, either and blamed it on her coworker (she was the only one working). She was not very helpful, either. Every other staff person was helpful and kind.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay in this well located hotel that was not only clean and well-located but staffed with very friendly and helpful staff.

Enjoyed the friendly and helpful receptionists. I liked the hotel and room decor and the great breakfast. Location was excellent. Helped make my business trip to Amsterdam enjoyable.

The hotel is beautifully designed, our room was lovely and the beds comfortable. The location is also great. However, some of the hotel staff were not friendly and the breakfast was very poor. Overall a plesant stay.

The Mister Highland Hotel was located perfectly for exploring Amsterdam, staff were really friendly and nothing was too much. Prior to travelling I had a few questions and they got back to me immediately. We did not eat here, so cannot comment on breakfast (or other food) was a little unsure what the situation was regarding coffee provided, this was not topped up at all, we went out for breakfast so it didn’t bother us that much, but it would have been nice for a morning coffee, we could of asked but didn’t want to be too much trouble (the British in us!) The hotel decor was bright and our room was clean and sufficient - we were only sleeping here after all.

Good location. Good breakfast buffet. Near metro. Nice and helpful staff.

Location was centrally located and everything was walking distance. Only downside is our room was in the floor below (-1/0) with no elevator access for luggage but overall staff was very friendly and helpful with our luggage. The room has a cozy and quaint atmosphere that was very intimate and inviting.

Very nice to stay here

Beautifully stylish hotel in the centre of Amsterdam, perfect location for exploring the city. Hotel clean and comfortable and great breakfast.

I would happily stay here again after staying for my fiancé’s 40th birthday. I requested the birthday package to have the room decorated, the cakes they used were local and so nice! It’s located right in the middle of the city centre without too much street noise in the rooms, only problem is that we were woken up during the night with the sound of people above us. Other than that it was amazing and would be happy to stay again!

Great location, everyone was wonderful. Good breakfast every day to jump start ya! Our room was very very small, I recommend checking that first. Otherwise no complaints would stay again.
