My Room was 80 degrees turned on air conditioner for few hours cam back nothing changed. Told front desk again came back again few hours later they told me they fixed it. went into room still 80 degrees they put in my room a loud cheap fan to blow hot air. I went back they told me to open my balcony door found different hotel and left.

The 11 o’clock checknout is a bit unusual. I would also expect the swimming pool and the spa center to be open

When we arrived they tried to give us the incorrect room type. Then they tried to get me to pay for a reservation rhat was prepaid through Expedia. Next I found out that I had to pay for the free on premises parking. Their version of on premises parking is parking in the street. A bit of a bait and switch and great deal of dishonesty. I did pay for the garage parking they claimed was full, but miraculously found a spot. Then we sort of got the room we reserved, but it was lacking the kitchen that was pictured. The excuse was the room I reserved was being renovated. No apology or anything. If all that is not bad enough, the room was an inferno. It was like staying in POW camp. The upstairs A/C unit did not work at all. The breakfast buffet was very basic and had cold food every morning. The breakfast staff was very unpleasant. The lone bright spot was the restaurant was excellent for lunch and dinner. The food was terrific and the staff was super sweet. My advice is do not stay at this property, but stop by for lunch or dinner.

Lovely hotel, friendly and efficient staff at reception. Great swimming pool.

Booked the larger room (duplex type). Cleaning was not done. Difficult to heat the room. Breakfast (although a la carte) was very good. No parking underground. Parking directly in the street.

Good location in downtown Ruse. Nice, we’ll-furnished and clean rooms. The staff was generally helpful and courteous. However, the property is aging and not as well maintained as I had hoped. In the height of summer, the air conditioning was not adjustable and the room was hot. Lastly, there was no dedicated parking, despite the hotel advertising “parking included” in the reservation.

The hotel is in a great location on the back of the main walking strip in Russe - Aleksanrovska Blvd and across the street from a small well manicured park with a kids playground and plenty of benches one can sit and enjoy the beautiful greenery and flowers. The suites are a good size with living room, separate bedroom in the loft space and 2 bathrooms. The air conditioning in the rooms worked well but the common areas of the hotel were not air conditioned and felt stuffy. The breakfast buffet was OK - limited fruit options, some cold cuts and a couple of hot foods- scrambled eggs, bacon and something else. My daughter enjoyed the French toast but it was only available on 1 of the 3 mornings we were there.

It is a very lovely place to stay. I only stay for two days . The personnel is very nice . I want to thanks to the very nice lady from the reception who found my car key that I have lost in front of the hotel.

I understand that options in Ruse are limited, but I promise any other accommodation will be better than Cosmopolitan. We booked a suite and it was 27 degrees Celsius in the room when we got there. The AC did not work well enough to cool the room the whole stay. We slept on couches next to the windows because the rest of the suite was too hot. We ordered wine from room service and it was never delivered. After an hour I went down to the bar and the “bartender”(who was wearing gym shorts and a t-shirt) gave me only the bottle of wine. I had to use the bar key on the bar to open it myself, as well and get wine glasses to take back to the room. The room was large and impressive, but filthy. The carpet had stains all over. The windows were covered in dirt and cobwebs. When we moved the couch to the windows we found it disgusting underneath. Breakfast was a joke. There were cold, runny eggs and hot dogs, which was the only “hot” option. The vegetables were dried out. The wifi was the only impressive thing about this hotel.

The room was spacious and cozy, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful. Overall we had a great experience. We would stay here again if we come to Russe.

The front desk guy was super helpful and the food was fantastic. The SPA was great!

Beautiful, spacious apartment, with stylish furnishings and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. On the downside, (a) there was a lot of noise from the restaurant, late into the night, (b) Breakfast was mediocre, and (c) at the end we were charged more than posted prices. Pleasant stay overall.

The staff was very amateur. Not happy staff,not smile.

The room booked had two issues, tv not working, room was very warm. When communicating with day clerk, she was not at all concerned, seemed like we were a nusance. She did move us to a smaller room than we booked. Tv and light did not work, it was a fuse. Wall plug in barhroom didnt work. Night clerk was very nice and really tried to help. The restaurant was wondetful, unexpected. Fresh food good selection. Since we were unhappy we checked out a day early, again day clerk said she was going to charge us, asked for manager, who wasnt there. Finally she called thd manager and gave us 15% off . If we didnt push she was not going to do what was right. One person could have changed that stay with a smile, an apology, and an accomodation. We would have tolerated the inconvenience.
