We really enjoyed the hotel as it had everything we wanted gorgeous views spacious rooms a nice little pool. Make sure you bring your good walking shoes because there’s a lot of climbing.

This cliffside hotel was absolutely one to remember with its panoramic beauty and location adjacent to the famous castle in Achaia. The rooms and service were more than adequate, the included breakfasts very tasty but nothing could diminish the views at this Italian gem of a hotel. It's a bit challenging to get to the bus stops from the main port in Achaia, so prepare to do some walking or shop the taxis around the marina to get a reasonable rate to the top of the island.

Didn’t like all the stairs

Beautiful location with outstanding views of the Mediterranean Sea and Castle Aragonese (both within walking distance). Hotel staff were very helpful arranging transportation to other sites on the island. Good breakfast included with booking, and the hotel also offers a convenient (and delicious) lunch/dinner service with outdoor seating on the terrace overlooking the sea. There is also a good restaurant within walking distance from the hotel.

Amazing view

The views from the hotel are absolutely staggering. One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. Staff were also incredibly friendly and engaging. The property is a little dated but everything was clean and worked fine. Highly recommend staying here.

lovely location, we had an ocean view. Enjoyed walking everywhere. Breakfast was great.... wonderful pastries. Staff was great overall. We had a toilet issue that was fixed promptly.

Ischia is an amazing island and we enjoyed a wedding with our friends. Don Felipe was a simple, clean accommodation for our visit. Simple room with modest amenities ... but we spent most of our stay out and about on the island.

The location was stunning lovely and quiet with a beautiful view and close enough for a 20 minute walk to the castle then on into town. The place is a bit dated but for the price we paid it was fine. Breakfast was a bit limited too but again for the price it was fine.

The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and accomodating. My sons favorite part of the trip was hanging out in the hotel lobby with Sophia who was very nice. The air conditioning worked great, but the shower is a bit small.

No wi-fin the room

We stayed at Hotel Don Felipe for one night in August. It was a nice hotel, comfortable enough for our short stay. They had a small pool with a beautiful view, which was nice to swim in to escape the heat. The hotel was also about 20 minutes from the Aragonese Castle, which was the main reason we came to Ischia. It's a bit far from the port but you can take the bus if you don't want to walk. The quality of service was okay but not the best I've encountered while traveling. At check in, they asked for our passports and when I got to the room, I realized that they never gave it back to me, like most hotels did. When I went back to ask for it, the staff disappeared into the back room for 10 minutes before coming back and giving us our passports back. There were other people waiting for their ID's as well, after asking for them several times. Their actions made us just a little nervous because it almost seemed like they couldn't find our personal documents, but it turned out fine thankfully. The room itself was okay, nothing fancy. The sheets were pretty rough and not very comfortable. The breakfast was good, and they had some cute cats.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Don Felipe. The owners were wonderful. The stay is in a beautiful location with easy access to the beach, but a little far from town if you don't have a vehicle. Have some wine on the outdoor terrace and enjoy the spectacular view. And the restaurant Gardenia Mare is next door and has fantastic service and food: make a reservation, you won't regret it. If you have a lot of luggage, be warned that there are stairs. For English only speakers, the owners don't speak much English but its enough to get by and they're very patient.

Trevligt hotel med bra frukost och fantastiskt utsikt från vår balkong. Fick bra tips om hur vi skulle ta oss till stan på bästa sätt, enkelt att gå om man får reda på ”smitvägen” till Ponte. Vi fick även lämna bagaget och ta duschen och nyttja poolen då vi reste sent på eftermiddagen

Ett superställe med fantastisk utsikt och grymt bra service! Endast 10-15 minuter från shopping och restauranger !
