Looking for a cheap but strategic accommodation in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta? Studio One Thamrin could be your choice!
I stayed here for one night just for vacation purposes because it's close to GI, just a short walk away. From check-in to check-out, the experience was pretty good for a budget hotel. The check-in process was fast, no hassle.
Ambiance/Facilities:
The room is compact but clean, with cold AC, flat-screen TV (including Netflix), and private bathroom with hot water flowing smoothly. There is a water dispenser on each floor for refills—very useful! But the soundproofing is not so good, sometimes you can still hear sounds from the hallway or the sound of passing trains. There is no electric kettle or coffee/tea making equipment in the room.
Food:
This hotel is very close to many culinary choices, from warteg to trendy cafes. If you're hungry in the middle of the night, it's really easy to find food.
Staff Assistance:
The staff are friendly and responsive.
Highlights:
The location is great—walking distance to BNI City station (airport train), Dukuh Atas MRT, and Sudirman Commuter Line. Plus, a smart TV with Netflix.
Price:
At around 400 thousand rupiahs per night, I think it’s worth it. Ideal for solo travelers, business trips, or those who want to transit before going to the airport (because it’s very close to the airport train station). But if you’re the type who needs a spacious room and complete facilities, you might find it lacking.
Location:
📍Jalan Talang Betutu No. 15, Central Jakarta.
Very close to Bundaran HI, Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, and all public transportation. Perfect for those who don’t want to bother with mobility.
