The hotel was very clean, the staff where friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Clean rooms. Very limited space, could not open bathroom door without hitting bed. Bed was very comfortable. Limited reception hours - we arrived after reception was gone. Keys to rooms and information was left at the front counter to just grab. Unusual but it worked. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices. Great location!

Breakfast was fine. The location was excellent. The staff were very helpful and happy to share their local knowledge. There were some quirky things about the lights in the room such as the foyer light being on a sensor that seemed to be activated when approached from a distance. It took a long time to go out! Room was ok.

the property does not provide quality service. The breakfast is measured. The bed covers are minimal to just cover the top of the bed. The air conditioner was permanently stuck on 19 degrees. It was very cold. And we asked for assistance with the proprietor coming and saying he will fix it the next day. We are still waiting. NOT IMPRESSED

A really good base in Ypres, central to most restaurants and tourist hot spots. The room was comfortable plus a good choice for breakfast.

Perfect location across from the Cloth Hall and 5 minutes walk from the Menen Gate. Walkable from the station. An extensive breakfast selection is provided as part of your room rate. Staff are very friendly and helpful with suggestions for activities and places to eat and drink. Highly recommended

Property is in a good location - very walkable and convenient. However, the cleanliness and service from staff is quite poor. When I initially checked-in, the receptionist just handed me the room key WITHOUT checking my passport - she just assumed that I was the correct person. When I entered the room, the shower facility was not clean and there was a USED towel still hanging on the rack. Told the receptionist and was offered a different room which was slightly cleaner. Another issue with this property is security as the main door is left unlocked 24/7 and the front desk is left unattended most hours of the day. Would not recommend staying at this property.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room wasn’t 5 stars but well worth it for the price. Right in the heart of downtown Ieper and perfect for walking to places. Parking during the week can be hard.

I liked that it was right in the centre of town. Close to transit stations and good restaurants.

The staff, especially the lady manager, worked so hard, from early morning to evening to keep things on track, it is a minor disappointment that the bar closed so early, but understandable without employing more staff. Our room was smaller than the one we had the previous year, although we thought we had booked using the same criteria, with only one small window set high up the wall, so no way to look outside. This didn't matter too much, as we used the room to sleep/shower in and were out most of the days. The room with fridge and safe, was clean and comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Strange that as the previous stay, there was no soap/handwash provided. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold choices, cereal, pastries, breads etc. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't always sit in our group of four as the 'four tables' were selfishly taken by individual couples (not the hotel's fault). The hotel's location could not be bettered, situated on the main market square, within a hundred yards of numerous bars and good restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to The Menin Gate. I would readily stay here again.
