We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast was tasty, the beds comfy, the playground fun, and the goats so cute. My kids enjoyed feeding them. Would definitely recommend.

Well deiven traditional Hotel

Hotel war ok, Zimmer mit allem was es braucht und auch gut geheizt, irgendwo im Wald. Ein Plus sind sicher der PP, der inbegriffen ist, und auch das gute Frühstück, auch inbegriffen. Ein Minus beim Frühstück war es, das ein ganzer Saal, der gleich neben dem Frühstücksbuffet war, abgesperrt war, und man sich stattdessen in einer Stube auf der andern Seite des Gebäudes setzen musste. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut.

Excellent place near Stuttgart if you plan to visit places around by car. Tasty local food in restaurant. One small minus, not in hotel, in weather - in the November was rainy and a bit cold :(

Good stay, room comfortable and of good size. Lovely location and plenty to see and enjoy. Only issue was the bedroom curtains didn’t close over, so room was light throughout the night and privacy issue being the ground floor room.

A lovely country inn right in the city. Having a restaurant on site and breakfast included was a bonus. Beds were very comfy, bathroom was clean.

The peace and quiet of the forest while being so close to the city. Really lovely.

The location is fantastic. Close to Stuttgart and feels like it’s very remote.

Very kind and attentive staff, would make an excellent weekend get-a-way. We stayed here as an incoming American service family and it was a very easy drive to the surrounding US installations. Distinctly German with a top notch restaurant, surrounded by wilderness with hiking and mountain biking. However, I would recommend alternatives on post or in town for incoming American families- only because it can be a bit overwhelming to be the sole American family on a property if you haven’t lived abroad before.

A really lovely traditional German hotel with extremely friendly staff and excellent restaurant. Very dog-friendly with good access to walks in the nearby woods. We would definitely revisit and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel highly to others.

overall great experience. it’s very basic but overall excellent if you are looking to stay for a night. staff was super friendly and free breakfast was great. Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent.

The hotel was perfect for our family, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay fabulous! They even had an early breakfast available so that we could enjoy a meal before an early departure! We would highly recommend a stay here!
