The only thing I did not like about it is that you need to pay 80 Euros to use hot tub every time , plus dress code to go to dinner .

The food is very good. We liked the saunas, spas, and resting rooms around the spa/pool complex. The location near a forest with walking trails and the mountain view is spectacular.

Overall good hotel, however small details that make it not great, considering the price; such as internet availability, which kept disconnecting in the middle of the room, I had to sit next to the door for a stable connection; breakfast is resonable ok as per Slovakian standard, but could be better, specially the coffee.

Big disappointment as the previous reviews were great. We came to check in after the hike around 7pm, looking forward to enjoy the spa and the dinner. The reception was slow and explained us both the spa and the dinner is until 9pm. We rushed in the spa that is very basic (nothing like the photos) and even lacks Finnish sauna. We left and went for the dinner after 8pm to find out almost nothing is left. In full fairness, what was left was nice. The breakfast selection is very limited, the quality very average (plus points for the fish salads) and they charged €2.60 extra for a cappucino. The rooms are small, we got a double bed even if we called asking for twin bed. The wifi always disconnects and one needs to open a browser and log in again and again. The most positive thing was the super nice bar tender, as if he was from another world. Overall this hotel is worth €50 per night and not €180 as we paid.

Stayed at Horizont Resort over a long weekend as an escape to the High Tartras and wellness relaxation. The hotel was nice enough, good standard for Slovakia with very nice staff and courteous service. Stayed on the 4th floor in a Suite which was fine. Living room area was bigger than the bedroom and bathroom areas combined, so not that great for a couple. Had a bath, which was good size, but the shower was weak. Also the door alignment for the bedroom and bathroom were difficult to manage as they are bother very large and the hallway they open into was narrow. Onto a very big positive.....enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast and dinners and the quality of the food was excellent. Some choices were better than others, but all-in-all the tastes were impressive. Location was also very nice, with views (from the grounds, not our room) to the High Tartras, including Start and Skalnate Pleso lift stations. One negative was the lack of control of children in the wellness (Sauna) areas.

Nice hotel north of Poprad at the foothills of the Tatras mountains. Restaurant is ordinary. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Nice bathrooms and the spa is great. They have ski equipment rentals available.

What a hotel! We had the best time, me and my family celebrated Christmas together ( after 11 years of not being home for Christmas) and this hotel just delivered everything we wanted, even more! The customer service is outstanding and so many other hotels can take example from this hotel! Fantastic location, beautiful scenery, food selection excellent. The only downside was the hotel only had only one lift, most of the time full. We didn’t mind, but some people with health issues can struggle to walk up the stairs (several floors.) Also, very small gym, next to saunas, very humid and hot and not enough equipments. Signages at the hotel could be displayed bit more visible, as was bit confusing from the beginning to find the right places (perhaps orientation map for customers to be provided etc) Apart of it, we loved it :) thank you x

Property was in the most beautiful surroundings. Views of mountains and countryside. Lots of walks through the most lovely countryside. short walk to local village. Hotel itself was clean and lovely, pool/spa was great. Bar was great and staff at the bar worked really hard and were cheerful and helpful - really great. Food - snacks/lunch was good. Breakfast ok but could have been better, evening meal again was good but could have been better and staff in the restaurant seemed to have a bit of an attitude - frequently no cutlery and when you asked for some it seemed we were being annoying, if you were towards the end of the evening meal period then a lot of food started to run out and again it was with attitude that more was delivered. Overall though it was a lovely place and I would go there again.

Would visit the hotel again for sure. Spa was great. Room are spacious with lovely view. Restaurant very clean with generous choice of food.

Snobish hotel with dress code for dinner in the hotel restaurant.If you are coming from the mountains and don’t have any additional pair of shoes, don’t recommend to stay here. Food was below average for 4-star hotel. Service very unprofessional. Wellness area was very good!

Nice hotel with good amenities. Disappointed after paying for late check out that the pool in a spa hotel didn't open until 2pm on week days so we couldn't use it before we left.

Wellness was plunged into darkness after a power cut, not their fault of course. Relaxation room had two televisions with the news on, because of that we went into the private pool area where there was a Armin Van Buuren concert on full volume. Not the relaxing environment we were hoping for. Pillows were really smelly in the room. Beautiful grounds.

The hotel is very recommended, providing all the pampering services to suit your day, a pampering spa, a pool, a Jacuzzi, a high level spa sauna Half board meals, very inviting dining room.

The hotel was just great. The staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. The facilities were new and modern and the view just beautiful. We loved it!

The hotel is family friendly with kids entertainment. Also great swimming pool and good food.

Disappointed. This hotel shouldn't get high score. Noting special. Very bad dinner. Very basic breakfast. I think the high score of this hotel is fake. Rooms very simple and basic, simple basic dinner as HB, Sky jacuzzi is with 100 Euro payment..insane. one of the reasons I came to this hotel is to enjoy this jacuzzi, but not with 100 Euro. You should carefully check who hive high score to this hotel. The hotel very clean and with good maintenance, the view from the hotel is very poor as in Grand Praha hotel I have been yesterday. HB was mistake to be included, we could use the 40$ in a good restaurant in this area.
