There were some small, cockroach-like creatures in the room. Many of the items were worn out and looked like they needed replacing, including the pillows. The place was actually quite good for staying, and the air conditioning was cool, but it did seem to need repairs. Also, because it was a club, the noise and vibrations could still be heard in the room.

I don't know why when I came back from here my body was itching.

I stayed on October 10-11, 2026. Check-in was at 8:00 PM WIB. The location was chosen because it was close to a running event. I booked a non-smoking room. When I entered the hotel lobby, I noticed a hole in the ceiling that hadn't been closed. Upon entering the room... wow... the room smelled musty, the smell of cigarette smoke was piercing my nostrils, the room only had one light on, the room phone couldn't be used to contact reception, the mattress was "sagging," the sheets weren't pure white, some corners looked rotten and moldy, the bathroom smelled musty and damp, the towels were thin and torn, and the AC could only be set to 24°F (unadjustable). All night until dawn, I could hear music coming from a nearby location. On October 11, 2026, at 4:45 AM WIB, I decided to check out of the hotel. When I handed in my keys, I found the receptionist asleep at the front desk, and I had to repeatedly call out and ring the bell to wake her up. Suggestion: The hotel is undergoing a complete renovation.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in.

The bathroom frame is infested with termites, and the soap dispenser is just a small, round one. Access to the inner-city toll road is very close, so overall, it's okay.

The hotel building is old, spacious, and clean, but it lacks maintenance due to its age. All the infrastructure is outdated. The AC can't be adjusted. The TV doesn't connect to the internet. The cleanliness is spotless, but that's about it. If it were renovated, it would be better to update the old items.

Stay comfortably and peacefully.

The staff is friendly, the prices are still relatively affordable.

Breakfast for a 3-star class should be a buffet, but it turns out there are only choices of fried rice, fried noodles, and fried vermicelli (choose one).

My first time staying at the Grand Asia Hotel. The service was friendly, from the front desk to the security. The room was clean and tidy, as was the restroom. I'll stay again next time.
