So far, the room, staff, and food have been quite satisfactory, but there were a few things I wasn't entirely satisfied with.
First, when I checked in, there were no towels or washcloths in front of the bathroom. I think this is important, because at other hotels, they're usually there when you check in. When I asked the receptionist, they told me they would be given them after sunset because the laundry schedule hadn't arrived yet. I assumed this was because the hotel was previously an apartment building, so it didn't have its own laundry room like other hotels. I decided to go swimming while waiting for the towels, but they weren't given until 8 p.m. Honestly, I was disappointed at the time, because I hadn't brought towels from home. I've always had them provided in my room at other hotels.
Second, the number to call the receptionist wasn't available, even though there was a phone in the room. I had to go back and forth downstairs to ask when the towels would be delivered. Finally, I tried using WhatsApp, and it worked. So, what's the point of having a phone in the room if it can't be used?
Third, the TV couldn't be operated. Honestly, this isn't a big deal for me, but it would be nice if the TV could be used (with YouTube and Netflix). We're in this modern era, and some hotels are already using smart TVs.
