Beautiful surroundings, but the property needs serious improvement. The villa is peaceful and has a charming Balinese countryside atmosphere, with the sounds of geckos, frogs, cicadas, and roosters in the morning. However, there were too many mosquitoes, the property feels old and in need of renovation, and the towels were worn out and unattractive. The swimming pool also had to be cleaned before use because of leaves and debris from the surrounding trees. A beautiful and relaxing concept, but maintenance and refurbishment are clearly overdue.

The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was very spacious, and what I loved most was the scent of the bathroom amenities. The area is spacious, there are lots of plants, and it's cool...

Plataran Canggu is one of the villas with full of tranquility and beauty.

My experience staying at Villa Canggu by Plataran was very disappointing and far from my expectations. Some things I encountered during my stay: The room was dirty. The television was very old. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room and around the villa. The swimming pool was dirty, as was the surrounding area. The furniture looked old and poorly maintained. The service was unsatisfactory. The trainees seemed to be working without clear direction. During the luggage pick-up process, two female trainees helped in the rain, and the access to the buggy was quite far, so we were stuck in the rain. The room also felt stuffy because many of the trees and plants were unkempt, leading to a mosquito infestation. The private pool was dirty, and the floor was sandy (said to be from the palm fiber material on the ceiling). Another unfortunate aspect was the disparity in service between local (Indonesian) and foreign guests. The public restrooms were also very dirty. Perhaps this could be a suggestion for Plataran management. Thank you.

There were lots of mosquitoes in the room, even though we had been given mosquito repellent and mosquito coils.

The staff is super friendly, the best! Whenever there’s a problem, they respond quickly. The facilities are complete, and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel at home and comfortable for a long stay. Canggu is said to be congested, but staying at the hotel is already enjoyable enough. The food is really delicious. The breakfast isn’t a buffet, but it’s sufficient and tasty. I once couldn’t have breakfast, and they prepared a takeaway with bread, fruit, and juice, packed safely and neatly. Overall, it’s great! There are quite a lot of mosquitoes, but the staff is always ready to help set up mosquito repellents anytime. Overall, it’s excellent, and I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect, the staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was big and so tasty, the room was clean and tidy and the room was really big. Defenetly will come back and highly recommended for stay.

Had a great stay, everything exactly like what it is on the picture, even better. Had an enjoyable quiet stay, with excellent service. Food option on room service is rather limited, but gofood solves everything and everything can be delivered to your door step.

We booked 2 bedrooms villa (villa 19), so amazing. With private pool and 2 huge bathroom. We also requested for breakfast at our room, they prepared it at gazebo in front of our villa. And it was awesome, like breakfast at private garden. The taste of breakfast also amazing!

Had a great time at Plataran Canggu. Need a little work on the maintenance. But the service was impeccable. The food was so god!

I wish I can stay here longer. I love everything about this place and they even gave the guess a very toughtful gift when we were check out.
