The hotel staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is strategic. The breakfast is quite tasty, with a wide variety of fried foods.

The hotel itself is in the center area, so it is very easy to walk around. Our room was quiet despite the outside traffic. Would repeat this place if they could improve their breakfast selection.

A very strategic location, similar to Jalan Mangga Besar in Jakarta.

Everything was basically good, including the breakfast. Too bad it was really noisy. Not sure if it was from the lounge on the 6th floor or where else, but the thin walls caused me to hear people doing karaoke every night during my stay there. The karaoke lasted all the way from 7 PM to 1 AM.

It serves its purpose as somewhere to spend the night, and little more. I would strongly recommend managing your expectations, as the hotel is rather ordinary and lacks any distinguishing qualities. It is perfectly acceptable for a short stopover if you simply need a bed, but I certainly would not choose it for the overall experience.

Every time I go to Pontianak, I always stay at the Gajahmada Hotel.

It was fun, I brought my family. The staff were very friendly, from the receptionist to the security guards, who were always ready to assist guests. The restaurant was a bit lacking in food, and my child was charged a fee, even though he didn't actually eat. But because of the charge, he had no choice but to eat. We were at another hotel, a star-rated one, and my child wasn't charged. But I was still happy. Thank you for the service.
