Check-in time was very disappointing. There was no flexibility, even with just two minutes to spare, requiring 2:00 PM. This is an out-of-town hotel, so there should be some tolerance, as guests will have had a long journey and want to rest quickly. The check-in time was disappointing, and the facilities were also lacking. I wouldn't recommend staying again, especially if you're bringing a family with children.

My stay at Sagan Heritage Hotel Jogja was very enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, fragrant, and the hotel's peaceful atmosphere ensured a good night's sleep. The hotel's location is also strategic, close to the city center and easily accessible. As a bonus, I received a free upgrade from a Deluxe to a Family Room. The room was much larger and more comfortable. Thank you, Sagan Heritage Hotel! I've stayed here twice, and both times I've been upgraded to a better room. I arrived at 10 PM to check in and was greeted by Kristin at the reception, who was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice, clean, and quiet. You can leave your luggage even before check-in or after check-out. The staff is friendly. There's a playground. Parking is also convenient. Good. Affordable too. Next time I go to Jogja, I'll stay here.

I've stayed at Sagan twice. I first went there last year and booked a Bebek room. I looked at the location, it's close to everything, especially if you want to go to Alkid, the station, etc. When I checked the app, the rate was cheap. For the same price as a small hotel or RedDoorZ (around Rp250,000-300,000), I think I'd choose this place. The staff are friendly. The AC is cold, and amenities and a swimming pool are included. However, the one we stayed in yesterday was probably under renovation. So when we went down in the basement, it was so smoky (I rented a motorbike in Jogja, by the way), it was a bit suffocating because of the smell of wood. We decided not to go down and took the elevator back to the first floor, breathing through our mouths. As a suggestion, maybe renovation work like that should be done at night or could be communicated to hotel guests so they are aware. For example, "There will be work on this in the basement from 1-2 pm this afternoon." Or a written notice would be fine and placed near the basement elevator. But otherwise, it's really good. And God willing, we will stay at Sagan Heritage again if we need to go to Jogja.
