The location is very strategic, but unfortunately the hotel is not well maintained, even though it is an old hotel, my suggestion is that there should be renovations and improvements in many areas, especially the cleanliness of the rooms.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore nearby shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The employees are fast to respond, it's quite clean, there's a swimming pool, it's close to the mall and hangout spots, just a short walk away.

It's been a regular stay at Merdeka Hotel when there's an event or just spending the weekend in Madiun. The location is right in the middle of the city. It's very busy with tourist attractions and shopping centers. But when you enter the room, it's soundproof and comfortable. Enter Merdeka Hotel for the rejuvenation of the bathroom area. It's quite comfortable, close to downtown destinations like the Around the World monuments, and also close to Plaza Lawu and Madiun Plaza. You can explore Madiun city on foot from the hotel. The guest service is friendly, so far so good. Thank you.

My two visits here have always been very comfortable, with the friendly staff. Cleanliness is also maintained, but some of the room and toilet facilities need attention. Some of the lights don't work and need to be replaced.
Otherwise, this hotel, although older, is comfortable.

choose hotel merdeka because it is in the city center, you can just walk anywhere. the staff are very friendly and helpful during our stay. the facilities are indeed a bit old but for that price and the location in the city center it is still tolerable.
