Such friendly service, great rooms, lovely and quiet, very nice beds and pillows, fantastic room. Paring right outside the door. My second time staying here, would heartily recommend.

Great place and location.

Our stay was perfect all the way from the initial, warm greeting from Pattra, to the wonderful room, a lovely Thai dinner and, then, a peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent breakfast. We can offer no improvements. Just thank you for a great visit. It also has a great location-just around the corner from the Castle!

This is a gem of an inn, located just a stone’s throw from the castle walls. The woman who runs it is a delight; friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and well stocked with teas and coffees and the like. The food - both dinner and breakfast - were excellent. It’s an older building so expect occasionally creaking floors (although they are carpeted) and low ceilings, but that just adds to the charm. Highly recommended if you can spend a night in Harlech.

Arriving to the Cottage in was like a warm embrace after a cold and stressful drive through the beautiful but small curvy roads of Wales. Petra welcomed us like we were guests at her home and the room was warm and cozy with a great big bathroom.

Food was excellent. Owners were very helpful and nice. Parking was tough but available

Wonderful place, outstanding food, great host!

The room was very well appointed and renovated but still had a fair bit of rustic charm. The staff are unbelievably nice and accommodating ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent. The value for the price is unbeatable - free delicious breakfast buffet and snacks. The only downside is the limited parking and spotty Wi-Fi but certainly not a deal breaker. The owners, staff and people who live in this city are very welcoming and made the visit that much more special. If you want to truly relax countryside, this is the place to stay.

We had a delightful stay at the Castle Cottage. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. The room had eveything we needed. We had dinner at Pattras which was delicious, thoroughly recommend the restaurant. Breakfast in the morning was good, overall we had a lovely stay and would come back :)

A great couple of nights stay in Harlech exploring the area. Pattra was a fantastic host and the room was warn, clean and quiet.

The property is located in a very convenient location. The EV charging point in the Castle which is a just a minute walk away is very handy. Top class host. Fixed our breakfast the previous night as we needed to leave early. Strongly recommend!

An amazing stay in a quiet location, perfect if you want to get away from the City life. A few minute walk away from Harlech Castle, and around 15-20 minutes away from Portmeirion and Portmadog, it’s the perfect location to see the local towns/villages! The rooms were nice and cosy, and very clean. The toiletries provided were high quality brands, not your usual standard brands you get with larger hotel chains. The restaurant and bar were lovely, and the breakfast was delicious! The owner made the most anazing Pad Thai, and they have an excellent variety of drinks on offer! In relation to EV charging, they do not have any on site but there are two charging points around the corner (Harlech Castle Car Park) and theres another car park in the town with around 4 charging points (around 3-4 minute drive from the hotel) so you shouldn’t have any problems waiting around for a charger. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and we will definitely be back again!

We enjoyed staying at this seven room boutique bed and breakfast hotel. The hotel is run by a wife and husband team. The hotel room are very clean just not modern, at least by American standards. Really enjoyed our breakfast! The hotel is a short walk to Harlech Castle. Both of which are reached by driving up a steep driveway.

Wonderful stay at Castle Cottage Inn. the owner Pattra made us very welcome throughout our 2 day stay. Cleanliness was exceptional and the food was lovely we dined in the restaurant both evenings with views over Mount Snowden in the distance. Sunset views over Royal St Davids golf course and the castle was stunning would love to return in the future.

Great place to stay right next to Harlech Castle and at the top of a very steep hill. Staff very focussed on delivering a quality service - restaurant food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast

Absolutely beautiful inn, attention to detail was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Just a few minutes walk from the castle.

Castle Cottage Inn had a really friendly reception when we arrived and we were able to book in early. Excellent room, great meal in the evening & breakfast. Is rate hotel and service. I would recommend to any one visiting the area on holiday or playing golf at the St Davids golf course.

Amazing place to stay. Spotlessly clean, large comfortable room, wonderful food. Stunning views. Pattra and her staff are so friendly and welcoming and simply can't do enough for you.
