The hotel is great, full of character but with modern amenities. Lovey breakfast in the "cave" basement. Very central to everything in Valetta. Staff are absolutely charming and friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay! Helpful friendly staff, breakfast had everything you would expect at a big fancy buffet but on a smaller scale. Room was lovely, shower excellent. Bed was comfy, especially once I put on the doona that was in the cupboard. There were even robes and slippers! The lift was appreciated too. Location is perfect, around the corner from all the action on Merchant St. A relatively easy walk from the bus station, with a small carry on case. A large suitcase and it would be too far, I’d take an uber. Would definitely return.

Excellent hotel, rooms.and staff.. the breakfast was good on the whole..some.of the cooked breakfast wasn't that warm.and looked alike it had been to here a while..

Very good location

Excellent location for Valletta tourism and nightlife but also not too noisy. Stayed in ground floor room which was a little dark, but mostly quiet. Shower was great. Occasionally there were faint drainage smells around the property but this could have been due to the work going on in the next building. Outstanding choice for breakfast, served in a vaulted cellar area. Friendly staff without exception. Would stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

Can't fault this hotel, location great; breakfast fabulous, location that's easy to find ad convenient to restaurants and walks. The room was clean and the staff at reception, kitchen and housekeeping were all terrific. I externed our original stay and would definitely make a return trip.

Lovely hotel and a great place to stay and explore Valletta. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room was ready early also. The room was very clean and spacious with a large comfy bed so we will definitely be returning to Palazzo Paolina hopefully in the near future.

A wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Good selection for breakfast. Hotel in a great location - best area in Valletta in terms of nearby bars and restaurants and quietness. Only disappointed was salmon at breakfast is left out uncovered. Everything else is perfect.

While the hotel itself is beautiful, what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive and welcoming, taking the time to give us a quick tour of the property to find ourselves around. The level of service went above and beyond standard hospitality. When we ordered a ride, the staff actually came to find us in the lounge to let us know it was waiting nearby. Even more impressive, when we couldn't spot the car, a staff member came out to the street with us and phoned the driver directly to ensure we connected. That kind of personal care is rare to find. Beyond the service, the facilities were excellent. The room featured a powerful shower exactly what you need after a day of exploring and the breakfast offered a very good selection of options to start the day. The location is ideal; it is centrally located in Valletta, making everything easily accessible, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat. If you are looking for a hotel that combines a perfect location with staff who truly care about your experience, look no further than Palazzo Paolina.

What a fabulous boutique hotel the Palazzo Paolina is. Located on St Paul’s street perfectly positioned just off Merchant Street (near to the best gelato in Valletta) and only 10 minutes walk to the Malta Experience (a good pick up for out of city tours) and the e city gates. The rooms are comfortable and a good size - ours had a small balcony as well- and the bathroom was well equipped with great shower water pressure. Bottled water was provided every day and the room had a coffee machine and a kettle. Breakfast Buffett was available daily and provided hot and cold dishes. It catered to practically every taste. The staff were very friendly and helpful - no request was ever too much. Overall a gem of a hotel in a great location. Will certainly visit again!!

Breakfast was good and the room is quite clean. We really liked this boutique hotel.

I spent a most enjoyable week here. The hotel was relatively quiet in an area convenient for most sights and local restaurants. Very comfortable room, good quality bed, but the carpet could do with a deep clean. Good sized shower room and nice toiletries. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with suggestions and directions. I would definitely recommend.
