Warm, clean and comfortable room. Shared bathrooms plentiful and no problem. Local amenities and 40 minute walk into York - or get a bus outside

Cheap and cheerful stay at the Annex - the dormatory style accommodation. Basic but clean, other than the inside of the kettle was full of black flakes of scale and the filter was missing, so you wouldn't want to make a cup of tea using it. Very friendly staff. The walls are very thin, and there was a lot of noise from other guests so if you're a light sleeper you may struggle. It was fit for purpose for my stay, which was just a single night before doing Parkrun the following morning - which you can't get more convenient a location than with this place! The proper hotel rooms would likely be far more suitable for a weekend away type of trip. Two onsite car charging spaces - bring your own cable.

Good value for money . Spacious , clean room. Very good breakfast Only minor issue was the tv remote control and a number of bathroom lights didnt work but that didnt cause us any problems

Bedsheets , duvet covers had not been changed. A slightly lower mark on cleanliness overall , Otherwise the stay was fine!

Clean room

This is a very basic hotel but if you take it for what it is, it’s great! Clean rooms, nice showers with good pressure. Beds are okay but the pillows could have been better. Okay breakfast. For the price, it’s great value!
