Great stop off en route to mountains - staff so friendly and welcoming

Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car.

This place is comfortable friendly and a great deal. I had a single room which had a small balcony with a nice view. No conplaints at all. Not luxury but just what i wanted for my overnight.

A real gem of a hotel! The staff were fantastic, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms were modern, comfortable and cosy. The restaurant had a number of great options to choose from and the food was delicious. Public parking in front of the hotel was free and easy. It's about a 10 minute drive to the bottom of the ski lifts either at Plan de Pesey for Pesey Vallandry and Les Arcs or to Montchavin for La Plagne.

Loverly hotel in the middle of a small alpine village. Room was perfect for what we needed - spacious and comfortable. Had a superb meal in their excellent restaurant. Lots of local dishes and produce. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A great place.

L'Alpin is based in the little village Landry, close to several of the best ski areas of the French Alps. Just up the hill lies Vallandry, part of the Les Arcs system, and with access to the La Plagne area too - not too far away from Val d'Isere/Tignes as well. The hotel was built in 2017, so it is super fresh, and holds a high standard. There is an efficient drying rack in the bathroom (necessary after active days), and the bed is pleasantly firm. A minor negative is that there is no fridge in the room, but when we were there it was cool enough to keep things in the car instead. There is a popular restaurant in the hotel, and we tried out some local dishes on one of our nights there., and the food was well cooked and plentiful - excellent steaks, and yummy cheeses. The staff is friendly and multilingual, nice that one can make oneself understood despite not having studied much French :-). There is free parking on the little community common outside (maximum parking time 24h at a time), and there is a local train station, so one can easily take the train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice or to Aime if one wants to go to slightly bigger shops without having to think about parking there.

Chambre, propre fonctionnelle, un personnel d’une gentillesse incroyable

Parking accessible devant l'hotel. Acceuil tres agréable avec un sentiment de bienveillance. Restauration possible le soir avec des produits régionaux et parfaitement présentés et expliqués. La chambre était tres bien. Seul bémol, qu'il n'y ait pas de volet, car les rideaux n'ont pas assez couvert la luminosité des éclairages de la ville la nuit.

El personal muy amable

Superbe chambre, vaste et confortable. Seule critique: le petit-déjeuner est beaucoup trop cher, alors qu’il offre juste un morceau de pain, sans aucune viennoiserie… Le restaurant, de son côté, est cher et médiocre.

Mi sono trovato molto bene. Camera pulita molto silenziosa e personale disponibile e molto paziente nel cercare di capire il mio pessimo inglese
