Very spacious cottage with an equipped kitchen. Hosts were responsive. We stayed overnight during a bag storm and everything worked well including wifi. Shower pressure was very good too. Would recommend a deeper cleaning.

Great cottage with everything you need!

Room is spacious. Location is quite fast from town. Bathroom is clean. Having 2 separate bedrooms is excellent for families. The lights were bright , the kitchen equipments are clean and comprehensive.

Having an outdoor grill was fantastic. Could not figure out how to use the cook top. The hardness of the bed made sleeping difficult. The cottage was spacious. Took a pleasant walk from the cabin towards the hills.

We booked this place so that we would be close to the puffin colony. We were lucky to get a newer cabin and it was quite nice. Much more spacious than the hotels we had been staying in. We got carry out from the Salt restaurant and enjoyed our meal at the cabin. Nice and quiet place with a view.

My car stuck into the snow and ice followed GPS 😑. Finally, survive from the bad conditions of off road. I have to report to Google.

Cabin needs a really good dusting. Couch and side chairs were uncomfortable for a late family movie night

Hi, the location was on point. It was a cozy little house. We did not have a very good experience with the owners. We were running behind schedule by 30 mins during checkout. Wanting to finish breakfast we requested if we could stay 15 mins more but were asked to leave as it was past 11:00. Not very pleasant. Overall loved the location.

This adorable little cabin was perfect for our stay traveling around the Ring Road! My grandmother and I LOVED this cozy place. It was nice to have a cabin all to ourselves and our own beds that were very comfortable! The TV and wifi worked wonderfully (it has been one of the only places with a TV on our stay so far) so we enjoyed a nice movie and coziness on the comfortable couch while it rained at night. The views are incredible & it is Fall time so the leaves are orange and yellow and beautiful against the mountains! The shower was hot & the appliances all worked well for cooking our own meals. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful cabin! Very comfortable and cozy.

It is a quaint little cabin very quiet with beautiful scenery around. The highlight was we saw northern lights right in front of the cottage midnight to 2 am

Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages is a quaint getaway to enjoy nature and relax. Our neighbors, 3 local sheep were friendly as well;). Staying at Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages is a unique experience for a big city couple like us. Quite, alone, cozy. Our cottage had a full bedroom, pullout couch and full kitchen. The town is about a 15 min drive where you can pick up groceries at the grocery store, Bonus, and eat at the local bar/grill, Salt. The main house even had an EV charger! Everything in our room worked great and we had no issues. Wonderful stay!

This cottage was the perfect place to stop and recharge during our ring road trip! Tucked away and well-kept with all of the necessary amenities. The place provided peaceful privacy, despite being just a 10 min drive from Egilsstadir. Clear communication from the owners as well, with the cottage being ready for us at just the right time.

A cozy and unique stay. Close to local towns but it felt as though you were far away from it all.
