An easy walk up to the fort. A very nice room with a great shower.

The rooms are kept very clean and the staff are helpful although English is limited. Breakfast is basic and in the cafe downstairs which you pay for separately. Parking is limited but there is on the street parking around.

This hotel in the town of Ciudad Rodrigo is a great place to stay. My room was very small, but exceptionally clean, and had a TV, a closet, and a tiny but sparkling clean private bathroom. The hotel is a 5 minute walk downhill from the bus station and my room on the 3rd floor had a view of the fortified city on the hill, only a 10 minute walk away. The front desk clerk was very kind and spoke good English. Their restaurant that seemed to be open all day, even though most other restaurants in town were closed in the mornings or for several hours in the afternoon for a siesta. Also, I realized 5 days later that I had left my charger behind. I went back on a whim, and they had it in their lost and found for me. Very kind people.

Overall it’s good, well priced. Just 10 min away by foot from old city. Friendly Lobby staff, but shared with cafeteria
