Rooms need to be updated; noise comes through the walls if you know what I mean. Other than that, the room served its purpose, the pool was beautiful, and breakfast, which was included each day, was delicious.

Centrally located and 15 min walking distance from Parque Lleras which is a local party square. Remember this is a hostel when you book.

My stay at Medellin Vibes was exceptional! I enjoyed it so much that I extended my trip an additional two weeks while visiting Medellin. The staff's hospitality truly set this stay apart. The front desk team was more than friendly, accommodating, helpful, and informative. I will definitely return in the near future! Special thanks to Pablo, Danny, Elvis, and Dani R (the bartender). This is my honest review as a 44yo woman. I thought from the review it was a good place to meet people as a solo traveller. It was only young crowd. It was not a friendly atmosphere for myself. I stayed in a single room and I’m glad I did. The room was so basic and needed to be updated big time especially the flooring and the washroom. The shower wet the floor all over and it was pretty dangerous to walk on it. There was only two towels nothing else. I paid the same fare for a very luxurious hotel few days ago so the price wasn’t right. I don’t believe that room was worth more then 80$/night cad The noise was just disrespectful. People came back at 4:30 am and literally had no shame in yelling and singing to wake up everyone. The good things about this hotel is that there’s breakfast included. The pool and lights at night are nice to look at. The bar opens at 15:00. There’s a little convenience store on the same street and a big supermarket few mins walk called Exit. I hope this review helps a few to book the right place.

The place is good for the price!

It was a horrible experience to stay at Medellin Vibes! the front desk attendant was extremely unpleasant and not helpful at all. this was more of a place to go clubbing than a hostel. The air conditioner was not working properly and the filter was completely clogged with dirt. Out of the 4 nights we stayed, we had hot water only the first night and the staff knew that they were having problems with the water heater. We could hardly sleep because the music was so loud. The breakfast was of the lowest quality and it was almost impossible to get ice. The toilet seat was loose and broken. It was a nightmare!!!!

Quick and efficient check-in

Clean, comfortable, better pool than most hotels. Not as close to el Poblado bars as others but very near the main road, metro and busses

Super brutal

Staff were very polite and welcoming. The room could use some upgrades. TVs do not work unless you use your own apps. The bathroom light was very dim, and the one above the mirror did not work, which made it difficult to put makeup on; it was the only mirror in the room.

All the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming always with a smile. The 2 bed room was spacious, bathroom was clean and hot water was provided. Breakfast was included and delicious, you can choose your egg style plus an add on, different sides were given everyday as to not eat the exact same breakfast every morning. Happy hour included margaritas and bartender brought over drinks poolside. Pool was warm, not hot, but great for late evening swims. 5 minute walk from a restaurant and some other options. 10 minute walk from the park and other stores. Quite surroundings and secured area. Front desk buzzed people in and out. Also 2 minute walk from a mini market in case you needed essentials such as water, snacks, toothbrush. Overall one of the best and affordable stays I’ve had.

Medellin Vibes was excellent for us. It is not a fancy hotel, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great environment. Location was perfect, easy to jump in an uber and close to all activities around. Would book with them again.
