The sea view room was extraordinary. You can either wake up in the morning just open your curtain with a cup of coffee and just look at the sea till the day becomes bright and time for breakfast, or walk home just before sunset to just sit at your window and enjoy the beauty of sea sunset. Breakfast choices was great. I stayed for 4 nights. The only thing is that, some menu keeps appearing exactly the way it is. For example, fried rice and noodle. For the first 3 mornings, these 2 are the same. I think it will be nicer if: Fried rice, next day: nasi goreng kampong, next day: nasi goreng tom yam. Etc. Noodle, next day: vermicelli, next day: hor fun etc. Also for 4 morning straight, local delight was nasi lemak. What if: Nasi lemak, next day: laksa, next day:. So as to give some variation. But other than that, the taste was OK, especially the soup station always satisfied me. Hotel staffs were also very friendly and helpful. They will also help us with tours. When it's late (almost 9 pm at that time), and you have random wishes for the next day, you can contact them for any ideas on tours. Location is more or less OK. It's close to Anjung Kinabalu, and walking distance from anywhere we need, except that sidewalk is sometimes not so pedestrian friendly. Overall I will surely recommend this hotel to stay for exploring Kinabalu.
