Excellent staff and great new year party

NYE Gala good night and the staff were fantastic

Very spacious room with comfortable bed, views over the car park and grounds and pleasant seating area. The bathroom had plenty of towels and good captive toiletries but overall felt a little dated with an over bath shower. The restaurant and bar area was very nice and we enjoyed good meals at reasonable prices. Nice to find plenty of free parking and electric charging available. Good to see that there are solar panels on the hotel roof.

Good value stay with additional use of spa

Room and staff was wonderful,the food wasn't,for £45 I expected more than a skimpy prawn cocktail,a small roast dinner with roast potatoes been done in the fryer and still with no colour and the cheesecake had been left out too long as it had started to whilt and far too sweet

Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room but a little small with not a lot of storage space 😔

There was no milk and nowhere to hang my towel in bathroom. Apart from that I will be back after Christmas.

Access to the spa wasn’t included even though the hotel uses this as the primary sales pitch on the website. It would have been an additional £60 which would have been 4 star territory!

Plenty of parking, nice restaurant and bar.

Decor was poor in general, damaged paint, walls & bedroom with wallpaper on the ceiling peeling. Hallway carpets well past their best. Staff were friendly & helpful, exterior looked alot better thsn tge inside.

Very, outdated, 1st room was extremely noisy as it was next to the kitchen extraction units and the room smelt greasy which would lingered for days however I was moved room Uon request. Staff cleaning furniture with scrapers whilst guests chatting & eating. Facilities were chargeable not included as stated when booking so did not use. Ample parking but Would not stay again.

It's a wonderful place to stay!

The rooms are old, the floor in our room creaked wherever you put your foot, the TV in the room was so tiny they shouldn't have bothered, the bath was dirty and the staff in the spa area were unmotivated and didn't care about customer service presumably because of the pressure that they are under from the new owners to upsell everything. The spa area was clean but only available to hotel guests from 7-9am.

Nice room

Overnight stay, comfy bed, nice size room with en-suite, kettle for hot drinks, room temperature okay, free parking. Would have liked a swim/sauna but spa area was too expensive just for that, £20 pp.
