Sandra on reception was very welcoming and very friendly. Room was adequate for what we need, but would be better if there was some WiFi around the hotel. I enjoyed the game of bingo we had (even won). Evening entertainment singer was very good. Not good if you want an early night, but did finish at 10.30. Staying again next month.

rooms are clean and tidy entertainment is good and the food is very good all of the staff are very good at there jobs. Great value for money

Room was ok(ISH) bit noisy all night with the freezer fans next to our room.Always love all the staff,or most of them, unfortunately this past year the atmosphere isn't the same anymore, mainly due to one person.But overall always happy with the way we are treated.

Basic, a little dated, but otherwise all good. And very good value for money….however there was a private party going on which meant no sleep til 3am as noise from bar area was terrible in room right above the bar!! Really should let people know when something like this ids going on, or least allocate rooms affected by noise to those taking part, and kocexothers as far away as possible. Even room on 2nd floor could hear noise from bar so no/little sleep til it was over!! Breakfast ok, very basic, but good for the price.

Great welcome and staff all very friendly. Good size rooms and good bed. Nice lounge and restaurant areas to relax in.

Hotel good for price and comfortable. Only issue is the front of hotel used for [drunk] smokers and at 12pm to 2am, sleep is near impossible. Not the hotels fault, but very loud older guests which every word ended in a swear word.

We had a ground floor room and didn't get any sleep from the generator keepinge awake to generate power for the lights on the ground floor

A very faded hotel. Best thing were the pleasant staff. Our room was freezing as the radiator was faulty, our shower room was small and smelly, the extractor fan was very noisy, there was no mixer on the sink and the hot water was scolding, the shower door fell on you as you tried to close it and the double glazing was shot the armchair had broken leg and needed to be pushed against the wall......otherwise okay ! We would have left after the first night if we had booked direct with the hotel.

We really couldn’t fault our stay. Yes it’s budget but the people, food and comfortable beds bely the price. Don’t even think about, just book and have a wonderful stay!

The room was clean and well appointed, although the kettle took a very long time to boil. Breakfast was enjoyable. All staff i met were pleasant and courteous.

All we required for a one nice stay.
