Super hotel et bien situé

Staff was really nice and breakfast

The location was great and breakfast was good. I just wish there could have been some variation in the breakfast. It was identical on both the days we stayed. Also, there is a large common place on the ground floor with a nice seating arrangement. The hotel could have provided just a tea/coffee facility where friends could mingle and discuss plans?

The view was beautiful. Hotel location was great.

Had an excellent stay!

Room was tiny but clean and comfortable. A few more channels for the television for background noise. Food at the hotel is a tad expensive but very good. Vik is a wonderful area. I stayed here a year ago as well. Will most likely stay again in the future if the prices don’t rise too much.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vik. The breakfast was great with plenty of tasty options to choose from each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay, always happy to assist with anything we needed. The hotel was spotless both inside and out, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The bedding was exceptionally clean and fresh, making for a great night’s sleep. One of the first things we noticed was the lovely, welcoming scent upon entering the hotel, which gave a calm and soothing feeling right away. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would happily stay here again.

Beautiful rooms. Great experience

We stayed in three different 3 star hotels in our trip to Iceland (this being one of them) and this was our least favourite of the three. Compared to the other hotels it felt less welcoming and more like a busy business. Lots of parking available, in a good walkable location and breakfast was pleasant. The rooms felt a little small, with the shower feeling very small. Overall we had a decent one night stay but if we returned we would probably pick another hotel.

Great breakfast, good location and comfortable room. The walls were very thin though so you can hear everything other guests or people walking outside are saying.

Great location. Nice room. Very walkable tiny town. Grocery store and gas right across the street. Excellent breakfast. Reasonably close to waterfalls, sneaker beach and glaciers.

Room was clean, they have added a new addition which seems nice. Our room was in the old portion of the building, so it was just okay. That being said, the included breakfast was excellent.

Nice stay in Vik! Clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Had a gym but didn’t open til 9am so went on a run around the town instead.

Outstanding destination in all ways…dinner (great chef!) was outstanding…breakfast excellent…rooms clean, modern, comfortable.

Este hotel es un top. De mi habitación podía ver la Playa Negra con sus magestuosas rocas. El servicio excelente. Cuando aparecieron las Auroras Boreales nos llamaron a la habitación y las pudimos disfrutar. Altamente recomendado este hotel. Es hermoso

The newer facility was beautiful. The lounge area was pretty, comfortable, and great for relaxing for the evening. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The standard room was in the older building, and I can see they tried to renovate it. But, it still felt old and cramped (especially the bathroom). Not enough outlets at the head of the bed, which we needed for the CPAP machine.
