Beautiful place, great location, very nice staff, great shower. Only downside in my experience was that the bedside lights didnt have working lightbulbs and weren't replaced when I asked them to be. The room also had no curtains, the heater didn't work. But

Unstable water pressure makes me crazy. The toilet water tank can't work properly and automatically. Curtain works like nothing. Internet too bad.

Smelly, old tv doesnt work, no hot water, no good wifi, too noisy almost until 2AM. Dont come to this hotel, no machine for credit card. People in the front desk was doing their best. But the place itself is really bad

This is a distinctive, very central hotel that is ideal for anyone visiting Sucre. The staff are outstanding, the rooms uniquely appointed in a mixture of older style and modern conveniences (although the wifi is a bit sluggish at times). Breakfast is plentiful, and staff allowed us to eat breakfast very early one day because we had a 5:30 am commitment. The common areas are lovely.

I liked so much the style, old as those colonial days. I did not like the bathroom, the mix of shower tub was not confortable, it was high from the floor, it is slippery and dangerous.

Beautiful building and decor. Our room was too warm at night, hence the next day kindly moved us to a much cooler room. Great experience to stay in such an historic building. Lovely helpful staff and good breakfast in included.

Nice hotel and excellent location, but they need a little more attention to detail in order to be a really great hotel. For instance, there are no blackout shades in the windows so more light enters than preferred for sleeping. When we arrived, we asked they clean the toilet because it looked like someone had vomited in it. There was also a price list for a minibar, but nothing in the refrigerator. Finally, the tv was very small and we wanted to watch one of the Copa America soccer games. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good.

It was a real treat to stay in a building with so much history and character. It was immaculately maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location too.

Very close to the main plaza with lots of bars and restaurant. We were advised we would have a balcony but reception advised no rooms had these also the room did not have a window so very dark Breakfast was very good and the reception staff were excellent Hotel.com need to make sure their information is correct but for the price this was a good hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, almost anticpating our needs before we asked. We parked outside on the street, where staff could see the car from the window. It was just a few blocks from the central sqare but very quiet at night. We would definitely go back.

Staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and the decor is very unique.

I booked the hotel just a few days before my stay. And the Front Desk Manager Mr Rodrigo was very prompt to drop me a message to ask if need any assistance e.g. transfer from airport. Upon checking in, he proactively offered me a map of Sucre and made recommendations of restaurants and sightseeing places etc. It was a great experience to stay in such a beautiful hotel especially in Sucre. It is just a block from main plaza but environment is quiet and I was able to just chill in their terrace/patio after an afternoon of sightseeing. Special thanks to Mr Rodrigo who went the extra mile to help me when I sprained my ankle while sightseeing. He is very warm and friendly and speaks excellent English. He is certainly one of the best Fromt Desk Manager I have met with great customer servicing qualities. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Very attentive, calm, professional staff. They provided the quietest room they could according to request. Good breakfast, though nothing too extravagant. Perfect location and wonderful rooftop to enjoy views of Sucre. Shower & bathroom doors should be oiled to reduce creaking noises...

If you like old places with history then you should love this once monastery re-established as an hotel. With stained glass windows, old rooms and a sense of tradition. En-suite bathrooms are modern with good shower and able to have a soak in a tub as well. Staff are helpful and friendly.
