The Rhino is finished. Very depressive atmosphere, the whole resort needs a massive change, what’s overdue for probably ten years. The rooms only have windows in the front door, that gives you daylight for a little part of the room. The other 2/3 is always dark. If you open the curtain everyone can watch you in the room. I had a bone in the swimming pool, the pools are filthy. The same with the sun beds, dirty-full of marks and sweat. The staff walks around like they don’t want to be there. You barely get a hello from the guys at the reception. There was nothing positive. The atmosphere was spuky. Rhino is finished, maybe a 3 star hotel.

What a big disappointment it was!!! I go to Saly twice a year. We usually stay at Royam Hotel. This time we decided to give Rhino a chance because their website description of the hotel is very appealing. For instance I wanted to take advantage of the hot tub they advertised but actually do not have. The worst part is that I got food poisoning after eating their breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs which were very wet. On Sunday I waited for over 15 minutes for a cup and a mug in order to pour some coffee and some orange juice. I eventually gave up on the orange juice. I was not the only one. Besides they are very expensive.

The staff at the parking and reception were very helpful. Unfortunately the food could be a lot better and the condition of the rooms can also be improved

On a passer une excellente séjour là-bas surtout avec Coumba elle est dans spa et Ablaye au bar on a beaucoup aimé sauf le restaurant leur cuisine sincèrement on a pas aimé c’est à améliorer

The Rhino Resort & Spa is a beautiful property with friendly staff. The rooms and pools are top of the line that include a separate bath, shower and toilet. It was quiet and peaceful. I will return for another visit.

My bed had both live and dead bugs in it at check. I asked to have new bedding put on the bed and hotel staff refused. I was told that the bugs were coming from the thatched roof ceiling. Bathroom fixtures were old and some broken like the paper towel holder. Expensive and not with the money. Keys did not work after one days stay and a staff member very easily broke into the room with a screw driver making us feel very unsafe about the security of the room.

I find this to be more of a 3.5 star hotel at the most. Some TLC needed in the rooms. Found the shower floor not to be very clean, the same with the basins that need a good scrub to clear of the scale build up. Pillows need immediate replacement.

A very nice 5* hotel with very friendly staff. Very nice large room, with both a shower and a bath and a great big TV. A deep pool for swimming laps would be good as the pools they have are shallow or not suitable for swimming laps. The gym is pretty basic, but ok. The buffet breakfast is good, though a bit of variety with the cooked food would be good as it's the same day after day. The restaurant is ok, good service but average food. The menu sounds great but the quality of the dishes and the ability of the chefs are lacking. Spaghetti bolognaise swimming in oil and overcooked tomato sauce making it black, or red. Lamb with sliced potatoes, the potatoes were almost raw and both the lamb and the potatoes had too much sauce over them. Apart from those issues, it's a good hotel to stay at.

Quiet place I went to rest and I got exactly what I needed.

Des chambres jolies mais une qualité abominable. Des puces dans le lit. Qui nous ont mordu tout le corps. On a du changer de chambre en plein milieu de la nuit. Des cheveux dans les serviettes dans la salle de bain , qui plus est sont d’un état piteux on dirait que ça n’a pas été changé depuis 10 ans (faudrait penser à les changer de même que les draps ) pas de mini bar. En plus de cela quand on les as contacté le matin pour nous plaindre elle a été super condescendante et désagréable. Service client donc est zéro à l’accueil. Seul les employés du restaurant sont sympathiques et à l’écoute. L’hôtel n’est plus ce qu’il était. Très déçue et je ne recommande cette hôtel à personne.

Very friendly staff. The spa was amazing. Rooms were nice and clean. The best part of our trip was the food, amazing food.
