Great place about 100m from Water, but surrounded by beach/sand. Short walk along beach to Morondava sign past several smaller resorts and some SL persistent hawkers (but not threatening). Water not v conducive to swimming. Pools lovely but not much in the way of amenities (a sloped pool table). Rooms lovely with insect nets & our room had AC…not sure if they all do….but it gets v hot. Staff lovely. Food hit and miss. Don’t miss Kirindy & sunset & sunrise Baobab Ave (hotel can arrange with their car)

Nice hotel

Palissandre is a wonderful property with 32 charming bungalows lining the coast. From your bungalow's porch, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, walk the beach, or enjoy one of the 2 pools. We arrived in early January when the temperatures were quite hot. Our A/C unit worked, but could not maintain a pleasurable temperature, unfortunately. The staff is friendly and helpful, although we did feel at times we had to wait a fairly long time to receive food and drink after ordering, which might have been a symptom of the off-season we were visiting during.

Towels were terrible smell. There are many mosquitoes even inside mosquito net in one night. After asked a staff to get a mosquito coil, it became comfortable

Enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. Be patient for hot water in shower —it took about 5 minutes the first day—but all good after that. Beautiful, safe and all staff was friendly

This is the best hotel in the area and convenient for the Avenue of Baobabs. Staff were very helpful and polite. The food was good and rooms comfortable. Would recommend.

The hotel is well situated, and the cabin is good. The service is good. It is the lock of the room that is not easy to use.

The room was very nice and clean. The hot water is a little tricky and it takes about 10 minutes of running the water nonstop before it becomes warm. Nice pool and poolside area. The wifi might as well not exist it was so bad at the bar/reception where it should be working the best. Trip planning or simply checking ones email is almost impossible Also, there is no pathway from the bungalows to reception, so expect a lot of sand in your shoes.

Ett mycket fint hotell i Morondava. Man bor i en egen bungalow som ligger direkt på stranden. Mycket fräscht. God frukost.

È un'oasi di tranquillità dove rifugiarsi dopo una faticosa escursione agli Tsingy. Un posto ben tenuto, con alcune cose che potrebbero essere migliorate, ma siamo in Madagascar e per qui è una eccellente struttura, pulita e di qualità. Ottima anche la cucina del ristorante. Personale molto attento.
